When Eddie left, i was alright with that becase i thought Chris Brown would be the future. :ha:, anyways i was convinced steve would be hear forever and if he did leave then we would be done. VY is slightly giving me hope.

I agree with this statement. I haven't been a fan of this team as long as some of you, I actually became a fan the year of the superbowl. I lived in Italy back then and in Europe it was all about football(soccer) and I just remember watching my first superbowl as a fan and because i have family that lives near Nashville, I found myself rooting for them and have since. Every year that has gone by, the bigger of a fan I find myself.

Although I'm originally from Spain and soccer is one of my most loved sports, When football season is around, thats all that matters. That and the Titans. Win or lose, I support the team although I get angry when we play bad. I love sporting the titans colors at all times and every christmas i usually get something Titans related. Basically I love this team so much that at the end of a bad week, if we play well and win, I am happy.

Nothing is more amazing than being able to have players like Young and CJ on the team and wide outs like Gage and Britt now. I never expect to see a 300 plus passing game come from the Titans when I watch them but they still entertain, especially with a player like CJ and when our secondary makes plays and converts for six.

The Tennessee Titans is pretty much my main love.

I grew up in the South, though a military brat and moving every 2 years, I still am from the South and as anyone knows...in the South football is king.

I grew up watching SEC football...my dad being an Ole Miss fan from way back. I got to see them play when Archie Manning was QB. Not a Rebel fan by any means [grad school at Miss State] but loved football growing up.

Fast forward to the day they announced the Oilers might be coming to TN. We were active in the Say Yes campaign and jumped on the PSL train as quickly as possible. Have been hooked from day 1. Never lived in a city with a major sport franchise in my life...so have felt blessed to now have an NFL team to call our own.

While they may frustrate me to no ends at times, they also can inject a sense of pride and excitement as well [see Monday Night Football and the bringing of the Texans back to reality].

I hate at times that I feel so emotionally tied to the team...yet I know that is what makes a fan a FAN!!

I love Nashville and the Titans are Nashville's team! Gotta love em....

Thanks so much for sharing everyone. I know that I'm not the only one that loves this team and its great to hear everyone's stories.

One of the greatest things that I can brag about and be really proud about is converting my brother into a bonafide Titans fan. For the longest time he didn't care one bit about sports or football. And now that we're in our mid-20s I find him throwing around bits and pieces of stats and info about our team. We've always been really close but this is just one more thing that we have to bond together.

I know that we all come from different parts of the country, and different walks of life, but we all share this great love and passion for these Tennessee Titans and that to me is very special.

My life has taught me that you are always a winner if you never quit. The Titans will win the Super Bowl some day. I won't quit supporting them until they do. I need that validation.

It was 1977, I was 7 years old. My uncles got me and had a poster of the teams. We have a tradition in our family that everyone has to root for a different team. My uncle who is a Steelers fan told me about the Oilers. So I picked them. The following year, "The Tyler Rose" came to the Oilers. I couldn't believe it. Every year after that I always had an oilers jersey, or shirt. Every backyard football game, I would wear my number 34 jersey. I live in Bakersfield, CA so the move to Tennessee didn't bother me. I really like the new logo and colors, especially the "T" on the helmet, my name is "Tim." One thing I learned is that players come and go, so do coaches, "except for the Fish." but no matter what, I LOVE this team. This team is very different from other teams, maybe because it is a small market team, but all of the fans are awesome, and welcome one another. I run into a Titans fan, and we talk and quickly become friends. Truly awesome.
