Well, this poll is pretty obsolete now and it might be time to make a new one. It seems pretty clear that Vince will be back at QB with a renegotiated contract.

That pick has to be defense. Just take the best player available, regardless of position.

Um, would you like to rethink that one? Cecil's coming back with Fisher and Co. so drafting someone who fits Cecil's philosophy would be a good move for the defense.

Considering now we have almost no ideas of where we would be picking...since Titans are screaming out of a Top 10 pick while other teams are faltering, it looks like we will be going a defensive pick.

CB or DT, best available...possible DE depending on KVB....or god forbid a stud LB if Bulluck doesnt stay.

I'll say this til the cows come home; we need to move Jason Jones to DE to replace Kearse/KVB (one will be gone) and draft a real DT. Not these lightweight easily can move guys. Go get the DT from Nebraska.

DL is what we need. We need to just take the best available DL when our pick comes around.

If a DT is drafted: Move Jason Jones/SenDerrick Marks to DE. DTs:are Tony Brown, DRAFTED GUY, Jovan Haye, Kevin Vickerson. DEs: Jacob Ford, William Hayes, Jason Jones, SenDerrick Marks... replace KVB/Kearse.

We need to draft a player like Richard Seymour. He has played NT,DT,RE,and LE. Corey Wootton is who I like. 6-7 280, 4.75 40 time. He's projected the number 2/3 DE and is suppose to go around pick 15ish.

I HATE when people say this. You should never settle on position of need. Don't draft for the sake of drafting. If no one worth taking is available with your 1st pick then move on. Guys like Julius Peppers, Mario Williams, Dwight Freeney, Albert Haynesworth are guys you jump on. Guys like Marks, and later picks are available for a reason. No need for football players on a team full of them. We need to start drafting difference makers. Just taking the best available is just adding bodies to a team.

On the poll, given where I think we land currently, I selected Joe Haden, CB, Florida. Not the sexiest pick, but we're falling out of the range of a Suh, Berry, Mays, etc., and I've said ad nauseum I don't think any QB is worth our pick, and I think Vince Young is proving that.

Greg Hardy is an alright choice, but I agree with Gut that a lot of the top DEs seem to have some issues, and most of the DTs aren't going to fit.

I also agree with Gut that Weatherspoon could be the pick at LB. I would put our three likely choices as Haden (CB), Weatherspoon (LB), and Hardy (DE). I like the measurables of Vince Oghobaase, DT from Duke (6'6" 310 lbs) but I don't know enough about him to say he's a fit for the Titans yet. Probably on looks alone, though, I'd consider that guy for DT (though it seems right now, with his inconsistency, he's looking more like a Randy Starks - first round potential who falls).

I'll also add that Green Bay is going to be hard pressed to keep all of Aaron Kampman, Ryan Pickett and John Jolley next year. As well, Sean Merriman, whom I personally do not like, could solve a problem at DE for us.

If we can't solve our DE problem, moving Jason Jones outside to start with Hayes would be my inclination as well. Then I might lean toward selecting a guy like Oghobaase to fill the space at DT, and rotate with Brown/Marks/Vickerson, debating on whether or not I'd keep Haye on the squad.

Without adding another DE, it'd be Hayes/Jones/Ford/Ball or KVB on a small 2-year $3M per contract.

I'll amend, I might add Brandon Spikes to the list since we've not had a true MLB for a long time, and move Tulloch to the strong side, with McRath eventually taking Bulluck's WILL position. Too early to tell, though. But might be a good move to help improve the run defense.

With VY and his impressive play we no longer need a QB.

I still like a front 7 guy. DE/DT/LB in the 1st. 3rd round draft the fastest CB. That 3rd rounder will be our KR/PR.

Our secondary is ok, we don't need Eric Berry. Cortland Finnegan, Rod Hood, and the 2 rookies will do fine next year.
