I hate to attack people personally so I will attack what you wrote. The "In fact, we're not out of the woods either (the whole Harper/Hood thing)" makes me wanna puke. It would be one thing if you threw it out there as your opinion but I think you actually think you're more competent than Jeff Fisher. It's almost like me thinking the only thing that keeps me from dating Megan Fox is the fact I haven't introduced myself yet.

Fisher kept Collins in there for SIX straight losses...and continually and adamantly said that 'Kerry gives us the best chance of winning.' Since Vince, and Hood have been in the lineup, we've won three straight games.
Sorry bud, but Fisher has lost a lot of credibility due to those poor decisions.
It's not that I think I'm more competent than an NFL coach moresoe than it is the NFL coach himself isn't making competent decisions this year. I shudder profusely to think that you can't see that.

Find me 5 members on here that actually think starting Harper over Hood when he gets back is a 'competent' decision.

Plenty of people on message board think that they can clearly see what's going on. Very few can. We get limited information on what really happens with a team.

I'm torn about Fisher. He's done some great things for this team. He has a lot of baseline ability as a coach that I don't think we can count on with almost anyone else. However, he's clearly got his limitations and his blind spots. I can understand someone having turned against Fisher and saying it's time for him to go, I just can't agree that it's obvious or the only right conclusion. Also, it's not realistic. Unless we lose more than three more games, Fisher will remain our head coach.

Get used to TBC's arrogance though, he's still the one who comes on this forum to tell TJ that the job he's doing is UNACCEPTABLE!

I told you to find five members who think starting Harper over Hood is a good idea but I went ahead and did the work for you...
    http://www.gotitans.com/goForum/showthread.php?t=54011

41 posts in that thread. Excluding the few posts that are off topic in that thread, there is only ONE of the remaining posts that doesn't reflect Hood start over Harper; and even that post doesn't say Harper should be starting, but moreso the reasoning behind it. All the other relating posts are adamant about Hood continuing to start.

I'm not trying to be an a s s, I'm just puzzled at why you think I think I'm more competent than Fisher when it's apparent that everyone and their mother knows he has made SEVERAL incompetent decisions this year....and they're starting to blow up in his face.

Sorry but unless Fisher shifts his paradigms and gets rid of his arrogance, he needs to go. You cannot have a coach that refuses to play the best player or the player with the 'hot hand' running your team, simply because of some asinine personal policies. Teams/organizations are about winning, not sparing players' feelings.

Do we need to go over this again?
Because it seems like you know that story as well as you think other members on here think they know what's going on with Fisher.
Understand that I have no remorse for doing that. Still don't. Did you forget that I brought the database issues to his attention on draft day and as of maybe a month ago, those issues were still lingering. If TJ doesn't like critique of his website, then maybe he shouldn't have created it and offered it to us to enjoy?
Like Ocho said on the NFLN commercial a few years ago, 'If you want the spotlight, you better be ready for the critics.' I guess that applies to everyone but TJ?
And please don't confuse arrogance with the ability to (JUSTIFIABLY) call someone out when they say/do something stupid.
DBC called me out because he thought I was in the wrong and thought that I thought I'm more competent than Fisher. I can totally respect that. I'm pretty sure I tactfully (not arrogantly) defended myself, because he tactfully and respectfully called me out. By your logic, I should be accusing dbc of being arrogant because he called me out like I do other members here.

I don't like the idea of benching a better player for someone less capable, but in theory Fisher's doing the right thing giving Harper his job back. Harper will inevitably bench himself once he gets burned for six. We know its just a matter of time. I have no problem with Harper, he tries hard. He isn't calling the plays that put him a bad position, the coaches cant be so blind that they're missing the liability Harper has become. He's slow but must be able to accommodate for it in other ways. I'm willing to give him a series or two to find out if he's worth starting. Remember: this is the same guy that Cortland and Griff both credited for helping them get to the Pro Bowl.

I understand that you think that Fisher needs to go. That's fine, it's a reasonable opinion. I just don't think that it's the only reasonable opinion, I think it's a very difficult question, especially since we have so little direct reliable information. His "arrogance" is something that you're ascribing to him, whether or not it actually exists. We're cobbling together different statements and things that we hear from reporters into our own views, and clearly, those differ and are not simply one clear picture. I, for one, think that there are good and bad sides to Fisher's general policy of not letting a player lose their job to injury. We'll see how this specific instance works out over the next few weeks. If the secondary comes back together, it's the right move. We'll see how much playing time Hood gets, and if he's worked in more and more once Harper is back.

I'm definitely aware that you don't feel bad about how you acted with that post/topic. I wasn't directing that at you. In case you don't remember, you were almost universally disagreed with in terms of whether or not you were being reasonable. Therefore, I was informing this other poster that you have a habit of not caring if others think that you're being arrogant/unreasonable.

I would normally agree but given our record and current situation I don't think we can afford to wait until he gets burned for six to bench him. As someone said earlier, him giving up a TD could conceivably cost us a game which would put an abrupt end to the small chance at the playoffs that we have.
