Did the key injuries and turnovers cause KC to throw 14 straight incompletions? 9 quarter's without a touchdown? If I am remembering right, we went almost the first half of the game with the patriots and never got a first down. My point is, key injuries and turnovers wasn't our only problem. Defense wasn't our only problem. I think the Collins/VY thing had the team's moral down. They knew who the better QB was, they knew Fish was just being a hard headed douche.

It all relates back to the coaching staff. :)

They probably all do know basic fundementals, but the NFL game involves technique that takes time to acquire and schemes most of the young guys have no experience with. Its why rookies at all postion struggle or are inconsistant much of the time. I don't blame a young player for not instantly mastering the NFL game. I blame coaches/front office that don't quickly add veterans to a roster depleted enough to have rookies who are "lost" out there in the secondary and pulling down the whole team. Ditto, with pushing Mouton out there to do what he wasn't yet ready to do on punt returns.

170 yards and 0 td's is definitely enough to prove to me that He is a beast that has finally been awaken. Who knows, maybe He can bust 190 yards AND get a TD this week. Will He be up for MVP then? I know He will have my vote, you can't teach a 12/19 performance for almost 2 complete football fields in yardage.

I've watched playoff football. Vince can not win those games...especially 3-4 of them in a row. I want someone that qb's this team that can because I'm a Titans fan. This short term success (if you can call less than 200 yards and half a TD per game success) will only postpone getting someone in here who can win.

If you do feel he can win, I'll gladly wager as much as you want that Vince will never win a playoff game for any team (he must start and finish the game, unless blowout). Maybe Jeff can hold the $ for a small fee?

Who said anything about VY being a beast? All stump said is that VY is better than KFC, which honestly isn't saying a whole lot considering how horrible KFC looked this season.

Jeez, the VY-haters are always blowing things way out of proportion. Anytime someone says anything positive about Vince the haters make it out like he is being touted as a god among men. What's wrong with giving the guy a little bit of credit? Sure he hasn't put up spectacular numbers so far but he's playing well. He's keeping drives alive with his arm and legs, hasn't committed a single turnover, and most importantly we are 2-0 with him QB. He hasn't given us anything to legitimately complain about yet. If you are making a stink about passing yards coming off 2 consecutive wins then you need to reevaluate things. (<--- last sentence brought to you by Jeff Fisher :ha: )

Seriously though, VY has posted passer ratings of 114.1 and 92.4 in the last two games and people are still complaining? I'd like to know what it's going to take for VY to win over some of the haters. 350 yards and 4+ TDs consistently? If that's the case then you're probably going to be unhappy for awhile assuming we keep him around next season and beyond. He simply isn't that kind of a QB. Doesn't mean he can't be successful. He just isn't carved out of the Brady/Manning mold. Who cares? As long as he's doing his job, making plays and helping us put up W's why does it matter how many passing yards get written down in the stat book?

In Fisher's system a QB throwing for 300 yards in a winning effort is not going to happen more than once in a blue moon. This offense is designed for a QB to throw between 150-250 per game based on number of passes thrown and number of times the ball is thrown more than 15 yards down field. Vince isn't the reason for that nor was Kerry, that is Fisher's design. If you don't like those results, take it up with him.

to be fair as much as i hate collins, it wasnt all his fault! There were a lot of drops and all! which is all fundamentals of the game which the players already know how to do and when they fail at doing these things, its their fault not the coaches!

fundamentals....you love that word dont ya

so you say that all these things we've done wrong are because our players arent doin the fundamentals. fair enuff, now whos fault is that? i mean you have players at nearly every postion and side of the ball failing to do the "fundamentals" their has to be a reason... urrmmmm, could it be, maybe the guy in charge of ALL these players? shockin thought i know...
if you have one or two guys screwin up, sure its on them, but your talkin about a collective team effort. listen to what your saying, you want people to believe that all these "dumb" players are not the head coaches fault.... well guess what, he drafts, coaches, releases-picks up, and starts these players....
i know if a supervisor has a complete team of screw ups, its generally his head that'll roll (but thats just real world im talkin about, not some fantasy game)
