Dumb Thread Warning : You can only keep one ... VY or Fisher?

It's a big part of the argument, because we need a coach that knows how to use VY. Fish and Ding don't have a clue how to playcall towards Vince's strengths...

Talent is HIGHLY overrated! Who cares about raw talent if you don't have drive and desire? How can you say Pacman wasn't a bad pick? He's not even in the NFL with ANY team, that's not a bad pick? As far as Vince he was sitting on the bench as a backup till two weeks ago so far I haven't seen anything from him since his return to show me he's that #3, $14 million a year superstar we drafted him to be. If they don't workout, that's a bad pick!!

Here's some reality for you, a lot of fans would like to at least see some moves toward winning a superbowl. That's the reason they play the 16 games. We put it on a different level than a tractor pull...

 

But I thought you guys were convinced that Fisher was a "Great" Coach??? haha.

 

Uh..... A young Jeff Fisher took over a team during mid season and had to play in Houston, Nashville and Memphis for home games. The team then found a home in 1999 with full fan support and great facilities. Since then the Jeff Fisher led Titans are 98-70. My math tells me that's 28 games above .500.

Besides... Tell me who you want to replace Jeff? Belichick, Dungy? I'll take them. But tell me how many SB's those guys have won without Manning and Brady, 2 of the greatest QB's of all time.

Do you really think Colts head coach Jim Caldwell would be 8-0 with the St. Louis Rams or Detroit Lions? You think Caldwell is a better coach than Fisher? You won't find a person in the world outside of Indianapolis to say yes.

How bout Brian Billick? He won a SB, you want him?

The truth of the matter is every team that has won the Super Bowl has had more playmakers than any Titans team. The Titans are a small market team that doesn't take big chances on the FA market and 90% of it's home grown talent leaves for more money at the peaks of their careers.

Changing the head coach doesn't change any of that.

If you're mad that Jeff didn't stick Young in there earlier then just say that and leave it at that. Truth is, the Titans weren't beating Indy and NE regardless of who was at QB with the secondary we were putting on the field.

VINCE IS 20-11. we were 4-12 before he got here. show me a quarterback pick since 2005 with better win percentage. go ahead. i'll wait.

 

Do you truly believe that record is the only indicator of a players talent? Show me a player with a worse INT to TD ratio than Vince had given us in his only full season. He had 9 td's vs 17 int's. That's almost 2 to 1 to the bad. Show me someone who had more than 8 interceptions OVER his touchdown passes. In other words, someone who makes more mistakes than Vince.
