I saw the replay, VY put the ball in a perfect spot for Gage tp jump and get it.

 

...and to where the DBs would have never gotten their hands on it if it had went through or over Gage's hands.

A perfect spot for Gage to expose himself to a season ending hit. That was a perfect throw to get your receiver killed...

 

Funny, nobody ever complains when Brady throws a jumpball to Moss...

 

Getting hit is part of the game. QBs try to make plays, not protect their teammate. And actually gage was barely touched. The most impact came from the ground. He got his legs sort of spun but because he went so high, his torso was unscathed.

 

That pass to Gage was great! It made a top-10 list, and it created some excitement. Good play by both Young and Gage. Justin Gage is 6'4" and does have ups, so putting the ball as high as Vince did wasn't a bad move on his part. Very very pleased to see Vince getting some support from some critical fans.

 

Ironic that a lot of the same posters who used to bash Kerry for only being a 'game manager' now praising Vince for the exact same style of play.

I praise Vince for his lack of turnovers, but if a 12/19 and 170 yard 0 TD performance is enough for people to be making statements such as 'hell freezing over' or 'told ya Vince was the man', then I'm shocked at the lack of football knowledge in this forum.

 

KFC was managing losses while vince is managing wins. that's really all there is to it.
