Coach Fisher's Wednesday Practice Report

Don't we have the same type of guy in Cook. They should have asked Fisher why Cook isn't getting more playing time.

I thought it was interesting Fisher's comments on Mike Singletary, the player. Said the guy broke 5 or 6 helmets his senior year of college. I got to watch Singletary his entire Bear career and IMO he is as good as any MLB to play (and I watched Butkus as well). We need a guy like that. We need someone who knocks out guys and adds a spark to the defense. The Bears were playing the Rams in the playoffs the year the Bears won the SB. I remember one play were the Rams had 3rd or 4th and a yard. They gave the ball to Eric Dickerson (at the time the best RB in football) and Singletary met him square on in the hole and Dickerson went from 30 miles an hour to a dead stop like he hit a block wall. That guy could play.

 

fisher would probably be quick to point out that davis only had 20 catches his rookie year as a starter.

 

Which is exactly what I want to avoid.
