Hopefully the Collins bromance works out for you Jeff. Maybe you can write country music songs together after this year.

I don't know about you guys, but i can't wait to see where he winds up coaching and I will be watching to see how he handles a new team. I have to admit that it is going to be strange to see him in a different uniform though.

Firing Jeff Fisher would be a display of stupidity on an astronomically high level. Bud may be gettin senile these days though.

    why ?
First to Worst is reason enough
keeping him on board "just because" is the stupid move

he has kept or retained inadequate staff / players throughout his career
I'm ready for a change in philosophy

The same people who say Fisher has only had six winning seasons in 16 years never say he's had only five losing ones.

I personally think this should all be about his effectiveness as a coach now. Right now, I think he's lost the team. Though I would fire him if the Titans come off the bye week with the same intensity I've seen the last three weeks, I can understand Bud wanting to give Fisher the rest of the season to see if he can right the ship.

For those of you who want Fish fired, don't expect an upgrade in HC like Cowher, Dungy, Gruden, or Shanahan! Bud only promotes from within or hires flunky HCs, so expect the likes of Cooper, Ding, Dom Capers, or Mike Sherman to replace the Fish.

    Do you really want that?

Fair point. Though he's also had four 8-8 seasons. Very rarely will 8-8 get you into the playoffs. So while technically they aren't considered "losing seasons", if your whole goal is to win a championship then they might as well.

Chris Johnson is homeless, and Jeff Fisher should be jobless.

As far as dark horse guys go, I'd be willing to give Munchak a try, myself. Don't think he'd do that great as coordinator, or would want it, even, but I wouldn't mind seeing him as HC.

Dinger is kind of interesting in this regard. He would be a lot stricter than JF, he would not be as big a p**ck as he was rumored to be in his last stint, and he would get to run the offense his way. Heck, maybe he could get Munch to take a coordinator's job and a promotion to stay.
