  2. Yes. It was bad timing and in poor taste but he should not be fired for it.

  3. No. It was just self-depreciating humor at a charity event.

Fishbag is just asking to be fired aint he. That is just totally inappropriate. I know that he can justify it by saying that it was a nice gesture aimed to honor a fellow coach whom he respects a lot. But WTF Jeff?

At this point he's acting untouchable by doing that. I would not be mad at all if Bud were to ax his @ss and force Vince back in.

    From Fisher's show tonight:

“It was for a very, very worthwhile cause, charity,” Fisher said. “I was introducing Tony, just having fun with it and I really apologize if I offended anybody, but if you’re offended over the nature of that type of thing, then I think you need to rethink things.

“This is a very worthwhile and needy benefit and I was honored to be there. … I’m sorry if I offended anybody but if I had to do it again, I would do it again.”

I get what he's saying but he completely misses the point. He didn't have to wear the Colts jersey and spout off that lame line. He could've honored Tony and the charity just as much without all that. He just doesn't get it. He's on an ego-trip of massage proportions.
Your team was supposed to have Super Bowl potential yet you're 0-6... 3 straight embarrassing blowouts... most of the fans are calling for your head and you think this is a good idea why? Simple things like this just aren't registering with him for some reason.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I just can't understand whats going on with Fish right now. He is normally very very good at analyzing situations and making good choices. I realize it was a charity event. Tony doesn't coach the colts anymore. Why not wear one of Tony's foundation shirts if you truly want to honor the man. Irregardless of what was said or how it was said, the message sent to the Titans team was that they are losers. I have been one of the strongest supporters of Jeff Fisher amongst my friends and coworkers. This is a complete slap in the face to Bud Adams and the Titans organization- even if he didn't mean it that way. Can you imagine if the President of the United States attended an event with the Russian President and he wore the Russian flag on his lapel? And then stated "Now I feel like a winner"? And before anybody says it, I know that politics and football are on a very different scale.

I love Fisher as a coach, but if he loses his job he may be the only one to blame.
