I think if nothing else,we have to give Cecil his chance. It's normal for a team to have a letdown when changing coaches..next year will be his proof IMO

We had zero money to retain Mason,Floyd Reece didn't manage the cap well at all,Haynesworth was offered around $100mill by his own admission. That's not cheap and frankly I'm glad he didn't get that from us.

Fisher gets $4mill + a season which isn't cheap either in terms of coaches money.

I think it's a misconception that we're cheap. We're frugal and have made some deisions that have turned out to be poor in hindsight but so does every other team. Our biggest mistake this offseason which made us look cheap was letting Carr go.

On the other hand we look like geniuses the way we re-signed Roos,Stewart and Finnegan.

I think a HC change would be good for us and I'd like to see it happen.

Bud was a tool when he was younger and meddled with a good thing in Houston because he was impatient for a win. He's shown a lot of patience since those days.

He must be desperate to see his team win a SB in his lifetime though and his time is running out fast. I can see him snapping and clearing house right after the Pats game.

I think things are bad enough to justify it.

Rumour is that Bud has been dead for years and he's actually a day walker. He's never been more hungry to win though. As pissed as we all are with high expectations coming into the season, imagine how he feels knowing he's not got much time left.

The guy must be royally pissed off.

Jeff will get a pass, as he should.

Fisher stays because of the contract. Not that I want him to stay but money wise we are keeping him. I think Dallas is the one that gets Cowher.

I voted no because I doubt he will be fired, although I wish he would be.

Maybe. I think it truly depends on who they know they could get. Who is out there that would make the team more efficient with their philosophy. If Bud and his grandson see someone that they know they can have then yeah I think Jeff is gone. I don't think Bud is mad enough though to can him without knowing he can upgrade.
