On Vince's fumble, he didn't really scramble into 3 defenders, The field was clear and he took off. Then the defenders made the play. I think his knee was down though. I need to see more angles because he sort of hit the ground quickly so i think his knee was down and we got robbed 3 points :/, the int was horrible but it was refreshing seeing him answer with a td pass. Overall i think he showed where he is in all aspects of his game tonight.

If his knee was down, it wouldn't have mattered. We had no timeouts left.

Yea i just found out we had no timeouts. thanks. He definitley needs to be more consistent with his games in order to be succesful, im just happy he is showing improvement in his passes. I didn't see many low balls and stuff. Again it's the turnovers that kill him but mike and jeff shout be able to iron that out. All in all, i enjoyed the game. I don't care if we win or lose really, just as long as they show me something. And i was impressed. I especially liked his run. And Justing Gage is showing that Britt will not be competing with him anytime soon.

The fumble was awkward to say the least. He was in two minds about what to do and just got caught out. The fumble shouldn't have happened though.

    He didn't make that choice.

Did you hear Dinger gushing about Ramsey on the radio recently - and hardly a word about Young. :grrhee:

Gunny, you must have missed the comments by the booth on Ramsey. They said he was still sore from the Dallas game so Coach decided to let him rest and let Vince work on his game some more. I would bet that next week Ramsey will play more. So really, as psychop said, it wasn't his decision.

if he doesn't give up he may have scored. if you notice he could have cut back and been agressive but instead he just kind of crouched and fell and fumbled.

(and before you say it's just preseason why risk injury)

he is the backup and he is supposed to be the future SHOW SOMETHING! show how much you want to win

    Your right nice find

He's The Backup/Future why the hell should he risk injury in a pre-season game? Im ok with him not injuring himself. Especially since kerry isn't getting any younger and may go down this yr. If you want to see a qb put his body on the line for a td then put ramsey in. Also we all kno what Vince can do with his legs. Especially in the redzone. So he doesn't need to prove he can still run. He needs to prove he can still pass. Which he's been doing in most cases. Although with a little inconsitency.

I imagine next game if Ramsey if healthy he will be put in with the first team and if he manages the game with no turnovers he will take the #2 spot.

Young needs to sell his body out at this point. He has not wrapped up the #2 spot and I think if he drops to #3 he is gone before regular season. It does not make financial sense to keep a guy on that makes as much as he does and will never see the field.

I like what you saying but I don't believe it one bit.Don't forget who cuts the check Bud Adams one good game from Ramsey will not put him over Vy. Probably not fair but business isn't fair.:gag:
