    that is pretty sweet. i might have to sell my big one and get a slim because the big one gives off so much heat it makes my room feel like a sauna.

    then again, i have one of the ps3s with backwards compatibility and four usb ports that has no performance problems...

    Backwards compatibility will be on all PS3s with a firmware update, most likely.

    I'd rather keep the original that had the emotion chip in it, then wait for a firmware update that merely enables emulation

    yeah, i've read that taking the emotion chip out of the ps3 has basically killed the backwards compatibility, making it almost unplayable.

    Sweet. The thin one is mazda miata type girlie. I like the batmobile sized ps3.

    I'm going to ask here because I'm fairly sure someone knows the answer, but... aside from the "backwards compatibility" and the gigs, is there any real difference in it?

    I mean, the PS3 has been rated one of the best Blu-ray players every year - better than even many of the newer generation Blu-rays - so has any of that been touched?
