See, I make nice with some of ya'll and think I can just speak/type what's on my mind and ya'll act a clown anyway!:clown: As much as some of ya'll talk and text with me, I would have thought that you had come to know the content of my true character.:irked:

The funny/strange/sad/upsetting part about this post is when you contrast yourself to "regular" people, as if you aren't one of them. The athlete/famous person isn't a regular person, because of who they are, both in terms of status and money. The wife/girlfriend/sister/etc... is still a regular person. If you got divorced, if the athlete left you, etc... it's back to normal world.

The flip side of this is that you don't recognize that it's all just about economic value. You don't think that ANYONE can get ANY of those things that you listed, as long as they have enough money? You wouldn't believe what restaurants and stores will do for perfectly non-famous people who happen to have and spend lots and lots of money. You think Finnegan is going to get a better table at Watermark than Mike Curb? It's just about the money. Yes, the Athletes have better name recognition at the smaller places, like nightclubs and bars. That doesn't mean that anyone else couldn't get the same treatment if they wanted to. Anyone with a black Amex can do almost 100% of those things.

Don't expect much pity for "young party girls who just like to hang out." That's a whole different group than the wives keeping up their dentistry.

Yeah I was scratching my head during the police press conference. I was hoping one of the reporters would pick up on it and ask a question but I guess none of them really understood what they were hearing. Trace amounts of GPR on her left hand after firing a weapon 6 times? I guess maybe if she had a pillow in front of the gun that might explain the GPR on her left hand. Anyway I am sure there is a lot of information we simply aren't going to get.

Anyway the murder-suicide is by far and away the most plausible but who knows.

This has been covered multiple times in this thread.
The police quote was.... "We found trace elements of residue on her left hand which is consistent with holding the weapon with both hands. Residue was found only on the left hand because of the condition of the body. In deference to the family, that is all we want to say."
In other words.... her hands were covered in blood (she slid into the floor).

There is no conspiracy, funny business, cover up, etc.....
    Sadly...It is what it is.

This would be relevant if we were talking about ALL people who have disposable income.:irked: The topic at hand was the mistress of a pro athlete and how it affected her life. She wasn't the mistress of a music industry executive or some other high earning person. Of course, we all know that perks and special treatment isn't exclusive to just pro athletes.

I honestly do feel pity for young party girls who like to hang out. This young lady didn't even have a high school education and her only option was Dave and Busters. I understand first hand the line that is drawn between jumpoffs and WAGS. When you're new to the "circle" the first thing that you are asked is where you went to college and "what do you do". No Titan player dare subject his jumpoff to the viper den that is the Family and Friends tent at LP Field.:ha:

Ahh ok. Sorry I was around when it first happened but couldn't post for some time and stopped reading about it.

That makes a lot more sense. When I first heard it they said she was sitting on the couch next to Steve and I guess I had a certain image in my head.

Thank you for clearing it up for me.

Ooooooh... yeah, that girl's toughest obstacle in life was clearly the Family and Friends tent. Keep it in perspective.

Who is 'The Mrs'? Is she a girlfriend/wife of a player?

Folks- it is neither fair nor productive to judge others by the same standards you judge yourself. Every person's life experiences are unique. It is unattractive and appears weak to resent others because their situation is different from your own.

"Judgements" are best left to legal affairs.

I think reading The Mrs.' perspective is enlightening as well as entertaining. Don't take offense, take notes. Live a little, learn a little.
