I'm Canadian, so help me out here. What's a semi-automatic weapon? (I know the basics, but what differentiates it from other normal handguns?)

Semiauto is a weapon that will automatically load itself, while expelling the spent cartridge.

if she was trashed, I think it lessens the possibility of her being able to successfully put 2 in his chest and 2 in his head

The evidence will tell the story of course. But would it be hard to set up. I don't think so. If one was setting up a murder suicide one would have hit McNair in the head while he was sitting on the sofa. Told Kazemi to move into the carpet area in front at gunpoint where one then capped her in the head, angling the bullet up. One then would have capped McNair off with some shots to the body to make it look good. Kazemi would be forced to pull the trigger from her prone position at least once. Put the gun where one wanted it. Not in the hand of course because of the grip thing I just read about. But somewhere. Locked the front door. And gone out. Now you and I both know the trail of evidence would be everywhere. But could one do it. Yeah. I think so.

There are really no ballistic tests that could prove it wasn't a murder suicide. I don't think. All the angles would be correct except for one. The bullet used to hit McNair from about waist high when she is forced to pull the trigger. But one could get that into the conceivable range with a little work. One just has to have to hope one gets dominant hand correct for Kazemi.

If I was Kazemi... If I cap him in the head from behind, why then move to the front to shoot more. Or if I shoot him in the torso first, would I need then to finish him off in the head by moving up. It's an emotional crime. I'm not sure that I considerneed to move up to cap him off. I don't know. Hard to imagine it.

Under those conditions, I would find it hard to believe that all shots would find their intended targets.

My wife read that following Thursday nights arrest, she called the ex-boyfriend to pick up the Escalade from the impound for her (Not sure if this is true or not). However if he did, and the vehicle was registered to her and Steve, keys to the apartment may have been on the key ring, thus allowing entry to be undetectable. The neighbors also stated she was at the apartment before Steve arrived. Just another tidbit found out there to add another twist to this. The police were supposedly checking records of who the Escalade was released to because the could not immediately certain. Also I did see Keiths myspace the day this happened, also I was told to look at not just the song listings, but the arrangement of them. Supposedly the arrangement makes a statement possibly directed to Sahel.

ESPN is reporting that a relative has stated she bought a gun recently. That along with no forced entry...murder-suicide. Maybe McNair told her it was over and he was going back to his wife? Her ex-boyfriend looks too stupid to stage this...

I'm inclined the believe that the most obvious and simple explanation (murder-suicide) is the correct one here. All the other conspiracy/cover-up stuff is neat (in a terribly morbid way) to think about, but it seems really unlikely to me.

Does anyone have links to screencaps of this Myspace stuff?
