I use to like action movies like this but to many of them now use computers just to make a fire ball etc... it's not fun knowing it's all fake and was generated on a computer. I rather watch Short Circuit , at least it was a real robot they built.

I dont mind just a little special effects, but Transformer, Spiderman etc.. just goes to far.

I'm not saying its a bad thing at all. It would make an enjoyable movie (to me) like Transformers even more enjoyable. I was simply trying to explain how people can find it entertaining. It isn't art, but its still fun.

Though I have to say the Batman movies aren't a shut down for me. I LOVE them... more so othan anything Bay will ever make. But they aren't mindless for me. I can't put everything out of my mind and take a break from thinking while I watch them. If anything they only get my thoughts stirred up even more.

    :grrhee:

Transformers 2 set the record for the biggest fire ball with the actors on set in film history(no stunt doubles either). 1000 gallons of gasoline was used.

I thought about attending the midnight showing of this movie tonight. Then a friend talked some sense to me when they said "why don't you spend your money on a good film?"

I saw it last night. It was horrible, dreadful, excruciating, verging on unbearable.

If the theater was empty it may have been more enjoyable. There were too many poon-craving 13 year old boys and annoying, screechy little girls in the theater.

The movie tried to be funny... I laughed maybe once. I laughed at an actor's surprise appearance and a small humorous joke that the very young children did not understand. The theater was in constant "ooh ahh" mode. Everything was funny. Everything was badass. That was simply not the case.

The movie was horrible. I tried to laugh at the "funny" parts, but they weren't funny. I tried to get all tingly for the "sad" parts, but those were more laughable than anything else. I'm never seeing a Michael Bay movie ever again... mark my words.

4/10 --- 3 points coming solely from Megan Fox's presence/some nice cleavage shots.

The acting in this movie was just awful.

Oh, I remember what I laughed at... Tyrese's slick shining, bright white teeth. The dude's got some awesome teeth, yet I laugh at that? :hmm: He was one of the funnier/better actors in the movie to be honest. Pretty sad.

7/10 - Not a thinker's movie. Just watch it and enjoy the pretty shiny robots and explosions and you'll be ok. Try to use your noggin and your going to end up feeling retarded and rightfully so.
