Bo Jackson was unstoppable in that game. It's a fun game to play, but people acting like it's better than anything current gen is a bit silly. Play it for more than 20 minutes and you score a touchdown or get an interception every play.

    anyway...Bo Jackson:

    Kansas City -- (AP)

    Nigerian Nightmare was daydreaming

Okoye is held in check as Chiefs fall in the week 3 contest. The Nigerian Nightmare just kept running into his blockers every time he touched the rock. Houston's defensive line came up big again today. Chiefs coaches let Barry Word carry the load in the second half but it was too late. The Oilers famed Run N Shoot was held in check as the running game won for them today. Derrick Thomas was too much for Bruce Matthews and company to handle. Houston coach Jack Pardee would have been happy to have a single 100 yard rusher this season. The feat was accomplished in only week 3 at a rowdy Arrowhead Stadium. Houston will likely favor the run more as the season goes on.

    INJURIES:

Starting Halfback Lorenzo White was injured in the first half and will be out for an undetermined time. We will report back to you with more information as we get it.

The Oilers travel north to the home of the Clam Chowder to take on the Patriots. On paper it would appear that Houston should win this one easily. Games arent played on paper they are played on the field. That field will have one of the best in the league at wide receiver Irving Fryar. Cris Dishman draws another tough assignment but the young veteran seems up to the challenge.

The Patriots arent a very strong team, but Irving Fryar is by far their biggest offensive weapon. Hes had a slow start so far, but look for him to pick it up versus Houston.

Lorenzo White was only out for one week. Doctors are reporting that it was a mild ankle sprain and he will see limited duty in week four.

This game started out crazy. Houston sacked the quarterback on two of the first three plays resulting in a safety. Pats punt and force the Oilers to a three and out. Pats burner Irving Fryar muffed the punt and offensive lineman Mike Munchak recovered for his first career touchdown.

The Oilers were pitching a 16-0 shutout when butterfingers Lorenzo White coughed up the ball for the fourth time this season. The Pats would turn that into an easy six as John Stephens trotted into the endzone two plays later. That would be all the Pats could get going on the day though. They were held to 26 yards passing. Oilers win in a rout 30-7 as the defense finally had a big game with 6 turnoved forced.
