I don't see Michael Sick making a difference in the NFL anymore anyway. He'd be perfect alongside PacMan punching out ex-college players in Pros vs Joes though..

I agree with the notion that he should face additional suspension for lying about his actions to the league in their investigation.

Sure, he should get another shot at some point, but he should also be made an example of.

Yes, his plea was technically for running the gambling operation. However, he swore to a statement that he killed several dogs as a part of that. He wasn't convicted of it, but he admitted it in his plea deal. I don't think anyone should have any doubt that he did those things at some point. My bigger problem is that he ran this whole thing for years, knowing it was illegal, and actively kept it secret. This isn't an issue of him "making a mistake," it's one of an ongoing pattern of disturbing behavior. Leonard Little got drunk and killed someone by driving. It's criminally stupid, and deserves suspension, which he would receive if it happened now. However, it's not the same thing as what Vick did. Vick purposefully killed dogs, and ordered dogs to be killed over a period of years. There was plenty of time for reflection, remorse, or change in actions. Also, when he was caught, he didn't admit it. He maintained his innocence for months until his buddies turned on him and he had no choice but to get a deal.

He has paid his debt to society, and is lawfully out of incarceration. However, the NFL has been punishing its players beyond the legal system, and if ever there was someone who could be justifiably punished beyond the prison sentence that he received, it was Vick.

    Vick begins home confinement (AP)

Suspended NFL player Michael Vick arrived at his Virginia home by car a day after being released from a federal prison in Kansas to start home confinement and a job in construction but with hopes of making it back to the playing field someday. Four cars pulled up to Vick's five-bedroom brick home at the end of a cul-de-sac at about 8:25 a.m, led by a black Kia Sedona with blackout curtains in the...

Why should he be living like a 2nd class citizen? He man'd up and served time where he was living like a dog in a cage. If anything he needs to get himself a big fat lucrative contract worth millions so he can pay off his debt. He didn't do anything never done before. Dog fighting isn't something I support, but it happens every day in a lot of places. Problem for Vick was he was so big of a name that they made an example of him. Again I DO NOT think he is innocent or anything but far worse happens every day, and nothing happens. I would like to see Vick come back from this better than before. I've always believe the "one step back allows two steps forwards". The NFL owes him a second chance. He turned the Falcons into something worth following. Even Atlanta's owner would like to see Vick succeed. Remember this; Vick's little brother needs Mike to make cake, because he is mooching off his older brother forever now. We don't want to see Marcus Vick eating mayonnaise sandwiches now do we.

See thats why I don't see him joining the NFL. instead probaly the CFL or the new league. He has about no money left because of the fact he pays for his ex-girlfriends house and her kid, his wife and kids, and some of his friends.
