Drew Bennett to visit

I thought this thread was a joke. We must be screwin' with him or something... It would be an absolute nightmare if we signed him.

He'll end up with the Turds or the Lionesses.

 

I don't understand all this emotion over a guy who will be at best our #4 WR. I doubt if we sign him because they will see that he has lost a step. The main issue is of they have doubts about hawkins as a solid #4 for us.

If drew makes the team he simply takes a roster spot from either p williams or davis. Big damn deal! If he takes playing time away from hawkins it will either be because hawkins sucks or drew is looking good.

As for our WR rotation it will be just that a rotation no #1, #2, #3 which everyone seems obsessed about. Gage-britt-washington will all get about the same number of snaps and will all be out there on passing downs. I do think britt will start outside because they want his blocking ability on run downs and washington will play in the slot more often.

The notion that bennett is going to take playing time from our first rd pick is nonsense.

 

when reading the article it does seem like he knows that he wont be number 1. if he gets that and JF uses him right...i dont know what would be so bad bringing him in for the vet min.

I really liked when LP Field cried "BOOOOOOO" after Vince Young threw his second interception vs. the Jags. That could be our new thing! I am so happy I was apart of that moment, screw the music city miracle, booing Vince Young off the field was incredible!!!!

There is no way in hell he takes playing time from britt. If he takes playing time from hawkins it will be because hawkins didn't deserve to play.
