They'll play football in London, but not in LA. eeesh. I sure hope they don't try to have Fifa in St. Louis

I'm against it in the current format, since it takes away the equal number of home games.

One of the best management compromises that I've heard of was one of the earliest- take away one preseason game, add one regular season game, and every team plays eight at home, eight away, and one at a neutral site. Play some games in England, Canada, Mexico, maybe even Japan, and in some non-NFL cities like L.A. It's a compromise in many forms, and I'd love it if they made it happen.

By the way, the reason it won't happen is because it doesn't give team owners anything else. They don't get another game in their stadium, and give up a preseason game every other season. Unless they get some other big concession, they probably wouldn't agree to that.

Hey, if the people of L.A. didnt already have a history of not flocking to games and not supporting teams, well, then that one would be quite a different story

Funny. Raiders and Rams are two of our teams biggest foils. The biggest being the Ravens I think.

a good equalizer would be for the conference champions to be those teams. It could be the Super Bowl penalty.. might as well since they are probably going to move it there permanently eventually.

In other news the French Open will be held in Atlanta beginning in 2011.

I want this to happen so much. I think it would be great for the game. And much more fair.

I'd really like to see a division of Europe teams happen in the future although I know that's extremely unlikely. But I really think London would support a team, and Germany could easily support two. Another division with two canadian teams, a mexico city team, and a LA team... that would rock too. I'm all for more globalization in pro football. Never happen, but I can dream damnit.

and WHY is the NFL so focused on London? Why aren't they having a game in Berlin at least?
