Undrafted Rookie Free Agents Thread

I would consider Craig, while Jeff is coach, is as close as it gets. Jeff has final say on who makes the roster. He said in an interview it was Craig's choice, that if Craig wanted to play, he has a spot on this team.

 

All I'm saying is Hentrich had too many touchbacks and didn't kick too many inside the 20. If Trapasso can be better then we need to upgrade. Field position is too important to sacrifice just because someone has been here a long time.

 

Craig isn't the punter he once was and maybe they will have some legit competition this year. Good thing for Graig that we aren't pressed on the CAp or he would already be gone. Great career no matter what happens and I can still remember him hitting some clutch FGs. Not sure he can do that anymore either but it is nice having a punter that can be a backup kicker.

 

Sure I think Craig is not what he was 10 years ago and it's always good for a little competition. However, I think Craig's got one more year left in him.

 

Whatever. I had Hentrich on my fantasy team last year. He was money.

 

I know ringer is favored to be our third back this year, but keep an eye out for our undrafted free agent Rodney Furguson from New Mexico. he is a tough kid, maybe not as fast as ringer but his alot stronger. watch him in the pre season.

 

Well we deal in reality and reality shows that Hentrich isn't the punter he once was. I remember seeing him after a game in 06 mind you and he was walking up some stairs and was walking slowly and using both hand rails. All I'm saying is don't be shocked if he gets beat out for the job. It's not like I'm rooting one way or the other, I just think (having seen Trapasso play a lot in college) that he will beat out Hentrich. Hentrich was one of the league leaders in touchbacks with 13 and was only average in yards per punt.
