Anyone else rather give John Beck a chance to develop as opposed to having Patrick Ramsey and Lil' Mort as our 3rd and practice squad QBs?? Very young, got great upside and intelligent. Let him sit behind KFC and VY for a couple of years while Dinger works on his game, and who knows?? He was very highly regarded coming out of College, can make all the throws, just needs a new team.

Beck vs VY for 3rd QB in training camp would be good for both of them. I would give the edge to Beck though.

I mentioned this a few months ago, but why not sign Drew Bennett? We can probably get him really cheap. He can fill as a receiver, plus he played QB in college at UCLA. essentially 2 for the price of 1 saving cap space to sign a CB.

Just brainstorming, thinking out loud.
