I can continue to play, but I have to reset my system once or twice in order to get past where it freezes.

Wildcat formation will be in it.
I'm sure people will find a way for it to be unstoppable. I hate it when they put in gadget plays in madden like WR pass, options, etc. All it does is ruin the online game.

There's your problem right there. :wink2:

Anyhow, that footage looked the same as always to me. The only difference is they removed last year's Super Bowl teams for the preview and chucked in the teams from this year. I'll reserve judgement until I hear some news on features, but right now... roster update. Kenny Britt doesn't warrant my purchase... though since I missed '09, I'm still down a Chris Johnson.

The full player ratings for pretty much every rookie are out and there's a link in This article where you can download them and check them out.

Not all of our players are there but here are some:

    Britt: 77
    Marks: 71
    Cook: 75
McRath: 64 (way too low imo)
    Ringer: 72
    Kropog: 73
    King: 66

The one thing I don't like about the Madden series is the difference in ability from players already on the game and the new generated rookies as you progress through each season.

The new generated rookies are always terrible and never progress more than 5 points.

The only way you can even hope for a reasonable advancement from any of your players is to import them from the NCAA game. Which is a brilliant way for EA to make as much money as possible.

I think they should just put both games onto one disc. It would save them money by not having to distribute twice the amount of discs. It would make them money because it would force consumers to by both and it would be considerably more convenient, since you wouldn't have to switch back and forth between discs.

Of course not every one is going to think that is a good idea, but I'd probably go for it. I already spend the money for both anyway.

Madden always has big expectations and the game never lives up to them. Have not bought madden since 05 ray lewis on the cover i think. Ps2 version was the best, these next gen versions are horrowful.

Ehhh. I'd disagree. The new ones are miles ahead of the old ones (05 and prior).
I couldn't even imagine playing one older than 2006 now.

That has nothing to do with it. His game plays fine until a certain season. That's the game...not the system.

Nice game but that preview sucked. Whack song and i hate the smoothness of the next gen system. Madden is about as far as it can go on this system. Now when they fix the smoothness then it will be perfect. Also the cove of madden has fitzgerald and polamalu yet he wasnt even in the preview. wtf
