haha Yeah. That's it. Just a conspiracy when military planes land at the wrong air-ports and have tons (literally) of cocaine on board.

Just kidding! That's just a conspiracy! Put all your trust in to a government that's proven itself worthy!

    Apples and oranges there jesse.

The main reason that most drugs are illegal is because quite a few stupid people can't hold theirs w/o doing something stupid to make the responsible ones look bad. And who here does't love to suffer needlessly because of the stupidity of others?

Not if they would legalize them. More criminals exist due to the illegalization of drugs than if they were legal.

-the pirate war can be won
-the murderer/rapist/pedophile war can at least be contained if not won
-the war on drugs will never be won....for the simple fact that people like to feel good, they like to get messed up; I equate drugs to sex. People want it and they will get it...sometimes regardless of the consequences.
You can't stop it, you can only hope to legalize it.

Sorry man, but that's pretty weak. You said yourself that you "equate drugs to sex. People want it and they will get it... sometimes regardless of the consequences." So by your logic, legalizing murder, rape, child molestation, etc. is the best choice because people want to do those things, too?

Evil exists in this world, and it always will. Deterrence is not the only reason laws and punishment are in place. There is also justice. There is no law or punishment that will stop all evil deeds. Selfishness defeats self-control too easily. What makes our society different from Somalia, is that we have a moral system of justice based on inalienable rights supported by the vast majority.

A person having sex with another consenting person does not infringe on the rights of anyone. If I go home, roll up a fat doobie and smoke it*, I'm not infringing on the rights of anyone.
Murder, rape and child molestation infringe on the rights of others.
Let's take alcohol for example. Look at all the crime that prohibition started.
Ok government fine, if you want to make our alchol illegal, we'll still find some way to get it, and they did. Look how that turned out. Alcohol was made legal once more. Argue with that.

*as long as I don't get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone and as long as I don't have anyone directly depending on me (i.e children) to the point being buzzed would affect

Ask Carter Pewterschmidt. He knows how. :ha:

He's Lois' dad on Family Guy. I say ask him because during one episode, Peter gets on the computer and starts checking his email and says, 'oh look, an email from Mr. Pewterschmidt.' So he clicks on the mouse to open the email and a fist comes out of the monitor, hits Peter square in the face knocking him back and falling to the floor.
I remember spewing Mt. Dew all over the carpet as I was taking a sip of one when I first saw that.

Whoever does really invent something like that, will be a rich man/woman. There are quite a few people I'd like to e-punch.
