    So I'll start!

Some crazy *sshole decided to steal my "no soliciting" sign

I realize it was just a sign that I can recreate very easily, but it was the princible.

I hate thieves! If you need something of mine that bad, just tell me! I will probably just give it to you.

But to steal off of me, makes you an enemy of mine for life!

Did I mention I hated thieves?!

    Well I do!

    It is pretty sweet!

We get a lot of compliments from delivery guys.

My GF and I added the pizza guy bit last year, as we ordered a lot of pizza at game time.

We copied and pasted it off the net, hence the reason I am so upset that it was stolen from us. It's the principle of the matter, not the value.

I figure if you are going to steal something as value-less as that sign, then you will steal anything from me.

There's a special place in hell for the A-hole lawyers and insurance agents who came up with the idea of the backup beeper. Really, did they have to be so frackin' loud?? Hey, I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean... a lonely housewife in Topeka, KS does not need to be alerted every time my business neighbor's forklift needs to move a pallet of cardboard. These things totally cancel out the noise ordinance, which was written to save us from bad rap music on crappy car stereos. Sure, that crap is annoying, but at least you can dance to it. Hearing those damn beepers all day from all the commercial traffic gives me nightmares about being strapped to an electrocardiograph wired to a crate of dynamite.

If that wasn't bad enough, Ford Moron Co. decided that it would be better to go one step further and wire the frackin seat belts to the dashboard buzzer :irked: So, if I drive a Toyota, why should this bother me? Well, glad you asked: whenever I visit the island of Lana'i, the only transportation is a shuttle service manned by Hawaiians who are either too fat or too lazy to put their seat belt on...and guess who made the shuttles? That's right- FoMoCo. So for 20 minutes each way, I have to hear the dash beeper going off every 15 seconds. So much for the quiet island getaway.

But I am like the Robin Hood of beeper haters... as a regular customer of Hawaii's truck rentals, I have cut many wires and disconnected many seatbelt warning signals when their owners weren't looking. What's been amusing is that in the case of the shuttle drivers, nobody even notices... they're so oblivious to hearing the signal all day long that they're unfazed when it doesn't sound.

So i'm at an intersection yesterday with my wife and son on the way over to my mothers house for easter when i noticed a young girl(in her twenties) right next to us at the light smoking a cigarette and texting. Not only that but you could hear her radio blasting Beyonce which is fine,i got no problems with what shes doing when the car is stopped. As soon as the light turned green she was still trying to accomplish finishing her cigarette and texting which now i have a problem with. Her focus was completely not where it should of been and it was a situation where you knew it was an accident waiting to happen. Well i got caught up at a red light while she made it through so me and my wife were venting about what we just saw, sure enough as we continue down the road guess who we see????? Our friend who apparently rear ended another vehicle which i'm assuming was because she wasnt paying attention to the road. It appeared she hit an older couple which probably had to spend an hour or so dealing with the police and maybe even going to the hospital on Easter. All because of this ignorant girl who felt the need to text while driving. If some of you do this, please just pull over or wait untill you get out of the car. Its completely not worth all the bullsh*t that follows and the possibility of being sued if you hit the wrong person. Some people on this board have kids so i'm sure they can all agree with me,driving with your kid/s in the car is completely different then driving solo, the last person you want to rear end because of stupidity is someone with kids in the car....
