VY can win games by running, but 1 minor leg injury changes everything if he cannot pass. a Qb can get it done with a non throwing arm injury, a running QB is disabled with a injury to either leg.

Thats why the Titans dont want him running around all the time, 1 slightly sprained ankle and VY can not produce. Not teaching VY to throw and making him scramble will result in a beat up Steve McNair that cannot pass.

I really don't understand this whole "the league figured him out" deal. mean are you saying they realized he would run because well he's been doing it forever. And when does it take the entire nfl a whole year to learn how to stop a running qb. all they have to do is leave a spy. Which they started doing earlier in the season. He found ways to get away from that. Vince just wanted to try to be more of a pocket passer. Instead he needs to look to air mcnair highlights and understand thats not him and hes more of a move around throw on the run type of guy. The league never just found ways to shut him down. He just didn't want to run as much. Especially after the injury. He just believes he should be a pocket passer.

With kerry in he is a game manager so when the game is on the line he just sticks to his throws. So when there's not a lot of time the game is over because there no time to hand off and no receiver to stretch the field. At least with Vince he could move around and draw some attention and get receivers open. He is not at that level yet but i think if he focuses and everyone gets behind him then he will reach it. Hopefully for this team because he is still my favorite player in the league.

VY is going to have to get there whether people are behind him or not. That was his problem last year, he let the boo's effect his game.

i disagree, the difference maker here was chris johnson, every team was stacking the box every down against us this year which gave our wrs a lot of single coverage. Nothing Vince couldnt do, handing off the ball is pretty simple and kc didnt exactly put up great numbers either. Give the offensive line some credit too.

I'd like to think that I make reasonable points regardless.

I don't think the situation at qb is as bleak as being painted.

I like that I am hearing he is at BSP working with his teammates presently. I haven't heard anything from Fisher except that Vince has to do the things that the team expects (though it sounds as they expect the same things from most of the other players too.) I am glad that they are making Vince compete. (for whatever spot, I don't know. Lot's of things happen in football.) I am in the club of thought that competition always makes the team better.

I think that for the most part, things end up like they do. Time will tell.

I don't know about you, but I can't see without my glasses. :ha:

Yes, but when we lost Johnson in the Ravens game, Gage came up big and got us down the field.

You know what, I just really think most of the "haters" are full of it.

There are a couple people that have serious doubts but most of them just like being antagonists to those who haven't jumped off the bandwagon yet. And the others had problems with Young from the start.

It's all so stupid and childish...

I mean supposing Young does turn out to be a bust... what good comes out of that?
