It was in his post game interview after the game in wk1 in which Young quit on the team.

No we don't know the exact question that was asked you have to be wearing incredibly homer tinted glasses to presume the it was related to anything other than Young.

When does Fisher ever air his dirty laundry in public? I can only think of the time he vented about Volek and that was about a player sent packing.

you are counting vinces rushing tds in the redzone against kerrys throwing only, how many times did kerry get us into the redzone and then cj or lendale run it in for tds

I don't see how that is relevant.

That goes on the running game and O-Line, not Collins.

Speak for yourself. There were plenty who vocally questioned Vince here before any that went down.

If I wear "homer glasses" they are of the two-toned blue variety. :)

Allegedly. You say yourself that there is no audio and that noone is talking. I know for a fact that Vince took the field (albeit slowly and while having an animated conversation with Fisher) and was injured shortly there after. After the game, the coach was asked point blank and said it didn't happen that way, no more than a couple of days later, the player you quoted was also quoted as saying that it didn't go down that way, Vince was asked about it and indicated the same.

So with out the question for context, you are also making a presumption. You perceive it to mean something, when it is entirely possible (if you think about how the D had to fight and scrap and play a tremendously physical game to get sacks and turnovers to help offset the ones Vince commited, lost the time of possession game and had 2 more snaps against them vs our offense against the Jags D and recall what he said about wanting to be the #1 D regardless of how many snaps it took) that he was saying something totally different depending on the question. Should that make me question what kind of glasses you are wearing? ;)

As for Fisher, I think he does great with the media. I think that he is basically straight forward with the information that he needs to get out. I think that he is tight lipped on things related to competetive edge. There is a reason why he is known to be a player's coach.

I personally think that this year (by the way it progressed) is a year that Fisher has used to level a young, emotional player out and to try and help him become a better professional. I think one of the biggest lessons Vince could learn this past year is to move to the next play while leaving the baggage from the previous, good or bad. Kerry is pretty good at that. He has had a lot of learning experiences.

And it is quite funny how maligned Kerry's start was when he got here, if I recall fans were not impressed with his start and the team elected to give a rookie OJT. I think this year may be a lesson that the one you thought "let you down" may be the one to "pick you up" in the future.

Just another way of thinking about it. :)

That has almost everything to do with it. If Kerry Collins throws a 15yrder to Gage or Scaife or even CJ or the screen and they keep the chains moving, eventually they get into the Redzone and also LenDale wasn amongst the leaders in rushing TD's this year well for a prolonged period of the season anyway and obviously quite a few of those were from inside the redzone and in particular inside the 4-5 yard line.

You make a reasonable argument if I were just a solitary fan with an opinion.

There is no smoke without fire and many people with way more knowledge than us have weighed in with the same opinion as myself. Kuharsky has way more freedom to speak frankly since joining ESPN and shares the same view.

We'll see what Vince is made of soon enough because his contract forces it.He'll have another opportunity to man up.Will he renegotiate his deal and fight to finish what he started or will he quit again and be cut.

If he doesn't win his job back here he'll be labelled a bust. His numerous apologists will have none of it though and blame the Titans,Fisher andthe media.

All of us fans of the Titans who don't worship Vince will be always be branded as haters.

    Shut up Hater! :neener:

Don't you know better than not worshiping Vince! He happened to be our QB when we made the playoffs in 2006. He's the best thing since sliced bread. Now get on your knees and beg forgiveness.
