Moore ran forty times of 4.57 and 4.59 at the Commodores' Pro Day.
Moore, who is also undersized at 5'9/192, didn't improve on his 4.58 from the Combine. The early entrant is probably a second-round prospect now.

would we be interested as the #1 pick

no thats what rotoworld said. i figured if they think he's going to drop to the second round then he could be there at our 30th pick. combine stats dont really mean much imo. just wondering if the Titans would be interested in him enough.

Well...sorry to basically repost this info...but...

Not if he's 5'8 1/2" and his fastest 40 is 4.55. He'll be fortunate to remain in rnd 2 due to his athleticism, game film, level of competition and his near 40" vertical. But he needs to be in a zone heavy scheme.

He'd be worth our 2nd pick, but I wouldn't chase him nor would I take him with the 30th pick.

There aren't too many 5'8 Cb's who start in this league AND are good starters or better. And usually, slow and small means nickel back...

He does have added value as a punt returner and can play some WR so if his worst is a solid nickel back who can help you with punt returns, that's not terrible for a bottom of rnd 2 pick. However, I think it's unlikely (though not impossible) he could be the heir to Harper...which limits his value to US since we already have our nickel.

4.57-4.6 range for a corner is appalling... Didn't Malcolm Jenkins run a horrible time too (at one point)?

Yes...but at least Jenkins is 6'. Moore is SHORTER than Alphonzo Smith who is not a top 10 pick because he's too short and runs in the mid-4.4's!

Slow and short is a terrible combination for a CB...especially watching how the bigger WR's can sky over the smaller guys...like Finnegan. And Finnegan is appreciably taller than a DJ Moore....

Under no circumstances should the Titans draft Moore now. Maybe if he was going to play nickle, which he's not.

Macho Harris passed him as far as I'm concerned. We knew he was a physical hitter, but he sucked at the combine. Pro day, he ran 4.46 and 4.50. It was on Astro Turf, but fast enough, I say.

Macho Harris, maybe. DJ Moore, no way.

I know Jenkins had a poor time and it's not as bad because he's taller, but still... I would expect all corners to be in between 4.35-4.5.

All I know is... we need a corner so damn bad right now.

I think Macho really improved his stock with an very solid 40 and the quickness he displayed which I think is even more important than blazing speed although it helps theres guys running 4.3's who couldn't cover KFC on a flea flicker.

He could move into late first early second area. I'm all for Darius Butler though he's my guy if he's there.
