    No wonder the Texans suck...

just caught the OTL report on EPSN about this, they had 3 lineman all hurt and out for the season from one day of these retarded non-padded, yet illegally full contact, organized team activities.

Morons, no wonder you can't protect a QB.

I hope enough stink is made of this to cause the Texans to forfeit their first round draft pick.

If your so intune with the NFL yourself then explain to me why you think you shouldnt be fined or lose at least a first rd pick? The Patriots lost a 1st round and got fined for cheating so i see your situation no different, cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it.

Because the RULES state at worst we would lose a 4th round pick. And thats ONLY IF multiple infractions are found. And this scrub player had already sent his case to the NFL and it was rejected as it was a NON mandatory drill and the players were asked to go half speed by the coaching staff. That's why he has chosen to go through the media and ESPN with his sob story. These complaints have happened all over the league before. Mark Schlereth of ESPN stated that 90-95% of all teams do the exact same thing in camps. I believe the Redskins lost a week of OTAs as a penalty a couple years back for same infractions. Thats it.

That scrub player got career injured during a practice that his teammates warned the coach was illegal and did not want to happen.

We should all be applauding that "scrub" for doing the right thing, in a costly and difficult situation, by exposing the Texans for being lying cheaters. It's not easy being a whistle blower.

Stupid Texans have to cheat just to try to stay mediocre.

    Weak.

Point being... like Mark Schlereth said basically 90-95% of all teams do this during mini camp.

And like this Chron.com reporter has found... its hard to find a REAL player to really take this seriously.

Yeah, it's hilarious people get career injured in meaningless, non-padded practices.

I'm perfectly willing to admit that it happens in most camps. But it shouldn't, and it will keep happening until people get punished for it.

I didn't say it was hilarious. I am merely pointing out the facts that this isn't some new big story in the NFL and that the Texans are not doing this alone as some rogue cheat team as you try to make it sound. Everyone does it. What was hilarious was the first round pick penalty you spoke of.

See Mike and Mike podcast on this page. Says it all:

And yes...its definitely a "technical" violation. No question there... and teams have lost a week of OTA practices due to it in prior years and I expect the Texans will probably lose the same.

Camps, two a days, etc.. are all much much lighter than they used to be. Its STILL football.

And no one has had their careers officially ended because of this btw. Dan didn't get the money he wanted from the injury claim he sent forth so he recorded the video to use an alternative route to better himself at the cost of his team. He is currently rehabbing and will "try" to make another team... but mainly the risk of not making it comes from his lack of talent... hence the route he is taking now.

Not sure why all of this is so hard for you to understand?
