    Dude, from your own link.

Even in 09 it will still be well South of 90% at 86.4&. Sorry but that is still not 95%. According to YOUR link it won't ever reach 95%.

exactly, but THE POINT is there is a CAP floor. Gotta spend X-ammount of CAP. That is my point. You would argue that two dimes and a nickle ain't a quarter!

yeah, for real Overalls... they are fuzzy numbers that are only used to illustrate a point. He made his point fine. Whether or not the numbers were precise, rounded or whatever... they were obviously off the top of his head for the sake of simple math.

I find it hard to understand how a guy like Overalls who is a Cow Girl fan could even begin to be critical of the Titans organization. Last season MR extended our two OTs (best tandem in the league) and also signed a quality RG. We also extended Finnegan (thats two all pros we extended). This season we have AH to sign so it is nice to have the extra cash around.

My guess is this year is the year where we very well could see a quality FA or two that is not a re-sign come aboard. We will use a great deal of the CAP space available. It happens every year. Just throwing money at average players isn't prudent. The Titans are a superior team to the Texans and will remain that way with prudent CAP management.

Wait. No, seriously, Wait! The Texans, who have never made the playoffs, are saying the Titans, who had the best record in the league this season are considered losers by the rest of the league??? Hahahahaha!!! I hate to think what everyone must think of the Texans, if they think we're losers.

I wont even try to deny who has been the better team since the Texans came about. However, what do you think this new regime has been doing since its arrival? Easy....they have been building patiently through the draft, not breaking the bank on the "big time" free agents, restructuring current contracts (i.e. Andre Johnson through 2015), and clearing up all of our dead weight they inherited. From 2008 alone...the Texans went from having close to 14 million in dead money to about 1 million in dead money currently. We have finally cleared all of that dead weight that has been dragging us down for years thanks to Casserly and Co! Reports are anywhere from 19 million over to closer to 30 million over in cap space currently.

The Texans did this by hiring one of the best contract/negotiators in the league in Chris Olsen. I don't expect it to change and the cap management to continue to be solid under GM Smith and Kubiak moving forward.
