So you're saying you don't have faith in our 2 pro bowl DB's? They can't finish out a game? Andre Johnson is an unstoppable force and Schaub is a god? Give me a break...

Uh...we had stopped the Texans in the 2nd half. AJ had 53 yards in the 2nd half. 40 of those came on ONE pass.

    Punt
    FG (missed)
    FG
    Punt
    Punt

So why people think it'd be hard for our D to hold for 1 possession is beyond me. We've done it quite a few times this season.

They have to start a game to finish it.

There is no harm in anyone criticizing the call or the play. It's been done over and over.

I get Gloat's point completely here. I would much rather Fisher say something like "I'm confident in the decision to go for it, because the odds were so low of making the field goal. However in hindsight, we could've selected a better play for the situation."

I have no expectation of honesty from Fisher, so his comment doesn't surprise me at all.

This season will have a big role in Fisher's legacy. Will this Titans team end up as a champion, or come close but not quite like prior Titans team? Will Fisher be a champion coach, or just a worse version of Marty Schottenheimer? Not saying that's a "horrible" coach, but in the end, one that failed when games counted the most.

When a coach's decision plays a large role in the outcome of a game the team should have won, in a game that may have important playoff implications, I think it's perfect discussion material. What's the purpose of a football forum if not to discuss football related topics?

No way Fisher admits a mistake. He isn't going to risk his team's confidence in him.

If the play had worked, he would be "a visionary" and the Titans a team of destiny.

I can't believe the call either but you can bet the Texans were not expecting it. Like Fisher said, the play was there. He put his team in a position to win. The players didn't execute.

If Fisher had missed the kick or gone with a little dump to the TE which was broken up, fans would have said that, once again, Fisher doesn't have a pair and never plays to win.

Hindsight, folks. It ended up being a totally meaningless game except for Albert's injury.

Anyone see his show tonight? I had a ball game and forgot to DVR it.

I am surprised that the media hasn't noted the resemblances much more often.

And just like it takes 2 to tango, it takes 2 to make a pass. Both of them have some bad stuff going on and should be replaced. We can't just look at the WR as THE source of all our pass problems. KFC is looking like the VY of last year, who looked like the KFC of old. :hmm:
