SUMMARY: Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams said this week Vince Young isn't going to be traded or released and that he believe he'll return to be his team's QB. "Vince will be the starter when he is ready to go, and when that happens will be up to the coaches," Young said. "But we're not trading him (or releasing him), because we'd be letting go of an outstanding player." Young feels he is maturing as he learns the game from those around him. "Right now I am just playing my game, getting my body right and studying the game. Football is football. I am very talented, and everybody knows what kind of athlete I am. Now I just need to get smarter with the game and get ready to use my God-given talent," Young said.

I would agree fully with the headline, in that Young is truly going nowhere. The only place he's been lately is to McNair's house for chickin wings.

I truly believe that VY will step up and be a great player. Whether that is here or not we will see. I dont believe what any coach/gm/owner has to say. Any player can be traded or released at any time. Whatever happens I say we ride the horse were on until it kills over.....

you should have kept the headline, but I could not resist the jab :ha:

he also went to the store to get those cool MP3 earbuds he uses on the sidelines to get his tuneage.

VY needs to be on the field now, at least for a few plays. Not using one of the best athletes on the team isn't a smart move as we go into the playoffs. VY is the future for the Titans, and the sooner that some of the detractors/haters understand this, the easier it will be for them.

By studying the game he means listening to an mp3 player on the side line. And by god given talent he means i am going to cry every time someone boos me. I dislike Vince and I don't think he is the future of the Titans. I wish we could get a quarterback in the draft but I know that isn't going to happen.

Young can still be the qb the Titans drafted him to be. Don't get me wrong, Young has disappointed me but it's stupid to write him off completely. Plenty of young qb's take several seasons to come into their own. Vince is so fast and potentially so dangerous outside of the pocket.. he could be way better next year than he ever was. Let's go ahead and be skeptical. That's fine. We just don't need to be overly negative.
