I'm not asking you to buy anything its just an opinion. Like Gloat said how many of those Steelers were battle tested before they won it?? I don't know why sum people have a hard on over the Steelers, their not doing anything special this year to make them battle tested. That SB looks good on their resume and that's about it,they could easily get bounced from the playoffs the 1st round. Pittsburgh found ways to win in crunch time against solid teams which the Titans have done and thats what good teams do.The Steelers are good but their offense is very suspect at times and i'm not anywhere near ready to crown them as more battle tested then Tennessee.

If Superbowl rings determines how battle-hardened a team is, then the Jets can say they are ready and tested for the playoffs because of their 1969 Superbowl III victory. Were talking about now... Be a good team in November and be a great team in December and on...

Uh, I don't think I said superbowl rings are all that makes a team battle-hardened.

But you all that think winning a superbowl has no effect on the players or team after the fact... well I think you all are crazy.

And I hardly have a "hard-on" for the Steelers. What a stupid phrase and comment. But if you don't think the Steelers are a good team this year, I dunno what's wrong with ya. They are very much like the Titans. Defense that is better statistically. Fast Willie Parker. MUCH better receivers (and QB in my opinion).

Good for us we really have the edge with our O-line though.

I said "sum" people for a reason, i didnt necessarily point you out and i never said the Steelers weren't good, if you read my post i said they were good but their offense is suspect, which is true. They have alot of areas that can definitely be exploited starting with their offensive line. Ben and Collins are at two different periods in their career to compare. Collins at this point in his career has been very effective and efficient. As for Ben, he is good but thats as far as i will go. The guy holds on to the ball way to long and makes sum foolish throws. If he can take care of those things he can play with the best of them. I agree their defense is lights out, but their offense has been staggering since Parker has been hurt. I guess we'll see in a few weeks

I'm not a fan of it either but it just reminds me of how close we were to winning it all that year. I can assure you that if the Titans do make it to the SB your going to being seeing that play about 100 times during the weeks leading up to it. It gets me fired up but they can use that as motivation, i know i would. But anyways, i'm going to stop right here with this topic because theirs still alot of football left to be played

It is motivational. Everytime I see it, I feel motivated to hit the neg rep option.

    Just sayin'.
