It's here! Thanks so much for all of your help.

Any advice on setting it up? I've got plenty of HDMI cables, but in terms of settings I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm tempted to leave it alone because I don't want to mess anything up.

you can browse through Cnet and AVSforums for some 'calibrated' settings
but it really comes down to prefernce

a good place to start is to set everything to 50 and adjust from there
by all means, lower ANY factory settings of 100, which is primarily used for store display

I like my contrast and brightness levels around 70
color around 30 or so (to avoid overexposure of colors like reds)
depending on the content, I'll either increase or decrease sharpness levels. lower sharpness for SD content, higher sharpness for HD content
noise reduction or other enhancements set to off
most enhancements just introduce other artifacts

    again, it's really preference

don't be afraid to make adjustments, you can always reset to defaults

There's not really any chance you will blow up the TV by playing with the settings and usually they come with different settings like Dynamic, Theatre, Bright room etc, as well as ones you can play with yourself.

HDMI is brilliantly easy to setup, you shouldn't have troubles there.
