Maze, Hopkins, etc are going to be a crazy squad this season. As I told the UT football fans all offseason - don't worry. At least you have basketball to look forward to this year.

Yep. Tyler Smith announced he was coming back for (at least) 1 more season about 2 days after Scotty Signed LOI. Arguably the best 2 day span in Tennessee Basketball history.

West and Maze will battle for the starting Point Guard position, this is really our only area of question.

JP Prince, reigning 6th man of the year will return and could find himself in the starting role.

Scotty is one of those players that will probably be a one and done type guy, so you know he has player of the year talent.

Tyler Smith is arguably the best player in the SEC and coaches have said "he could score 20 a game if we needed him to or asked him to, but last season we had so many weapons it wasn't needed, this year you will see a lot more shots from Tyler and expect his PPG to go up by 4 or 5 points."

Wayne Chism also returns, a special player who holds his own, and can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court. One of those multidimensional bigmen.

Ramar Smith and Duke Crews both got the boot, I really like Ramar but he couldn't stay out of trouble.

I think Tennessee is a serious contender for the National Championship, I've talked to Scotty and Tyler and they both feel the same way.
