I liked the first game from what I remember. Well I really just got a kick out of a destructible environment :boom:

    Anyone played #2 yet?

I have it, and I love it. It's getting some very bad reviews (Gamespot gave it 5/10), and I honestly have no idea why. It's honestly better than GTAIV, and that's not hyperbole. The game plays quite well, and is designed to be very forgiving (the checkpoint system for missions is well designed if you die). It looks pretty good for a sandbox game, and the design is really good for the maps. The explosions themselves are amazing, probably the best I've ever seen in a game (taking down whole city blocks hasn't been more satisfying). Bottomline, this game is just simply FUN, and if you liked Mercs1, you'll love this as well. Cop it.

Well I may be sold already :brow: I figured I'd really like this game from what I've seen despite some low scores.

Damn I need a game I can get into! Army of 2 just is not doing it for me.

I liked Mercs one but after a while it got pretty repetitive. After I had the codes and all the weapons .... does this second game do the same ,..... as in repetitiveness?

I mean, if you try to get 100% (securing HVTs, destroying all targets, etc), then it might. But the game itself isn't that long if you don't want it to be.
