As if winning the Pac 10 is a big deal. I would argue that the Big 10 is a better conference than the Pac 10. You take OSU out of the Big 10 at least you still have another elite team in Michigan and some semi elite teams in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Penn State. Take USC out of the Pac 10 what other elite teams are there? None. What semi elite teams are there? I suppose Cal and ASU. And don't give me Oregon, they had 1 good year and without Dixon got REALLY exposed as frauds.

I do love Ohio State's chances this year... a lot. I wouldn't be shocked if this team had 6 first round draft picks on it. But it's a tough schedule this year no question, USC, Penn State, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan and I believe a much improved Michigan State, and Troy is a solid team too for a smaller school. I love our chances to go undefeated though. We have more to prove than any team and we may have the most talented team. Only problem I see is Todd Boeckman. I don't trust him. Never have and I have little reason to continue. He thinks and many people seem to, that he's some great NFL prospect but he comes up small in big games and throws a deep pass that hangs in the air for an eternity. If he can cut the interceptions and stop taking so many sacks he CAN be the big NFL prospect people seem to think but if he doesn't he'll cost us a perfect season. Anyone who saw the Illinois game knows that he was just dreadful. Maybe were just spoiled from Troy Smith but I always had faith in Troy and I don't have that same feeling with Boeckman behind center.

Gloat is also 100% right on about last years NCG. We go up 10-0, a big Wells play, LSU lost about 15 yards on their first drive, everything was looking great then we just put it in cruise control. It was like watching the 4th quarter of the regular season game of the Titans/Chargers only 3 times as long.

Yet it's OK for LSU to play App State and Florida to play Citadel? Get real, every team plays one or two easy games.

You don't put it on cruise control at 10-0 in the NC game. LSU was way better.

It's OK as long as you beat App State, but when your conference class team gets beat by them...:ha:

Hey nobody loved that game more than me. I knew the reputation it would give the Big 10 but it was worth it.

:ha: Hell, I go to Penn State and we enjoyed the hell out of that game. People were running down the halls screaming and high fiving.

Of course we then lost to Michigan because Joe Paterno has no guts but that's another story all together.

The entire world seemed to love it. Did you catch that Florida/Michigan game though?
We actually PLAY against overrated teams rather than appearing as one...every...single...year.

No one can hurt the big 10 as much as tUOS has the last 3 years.
Illinois would make a game out of an LSU matchup.
