Did it bother you that the screen has to flip from IMAX cameras to regular? The change in screen size really started to drive me crazy after a while. I do, however, look forward to more movies being shot with IMAX film.

it's a very dark but brilliant character study.of three characters too.in that sense i'd say it's an adult movie. You have to an adult I'd say to fully apreciate just how good a movie it is.

I don't think there's actually any graphic violence or disturbing scenes that would affect younger viewers though.

As a movie ,comic based or not I think it's almost perfect,a stunning movie with an almost perfect plot. They'll struggle to match it let alone top it with the inevitable sequel.I hope the same director /writer gets a shot though.

They'll be able to match it. Why wouldn't they? It's just an action movie.
And I'm not sure I follow, Sapper.

Sigh, I thought it was a GREAT story.....with great action. I loved how they made it human nature vs humans. I didnt read comic books growing up, so I was surprised at every turn. Right when I thought the movie was over, BAM they added a new character. Like I have stated in other movie reviews, I love a good story, and want to be entertained and this movie did both. My favorite movie of the summer so far. Sorry you didnt think it was that good Gloat, but everyone has their own taste.

This is the first movie to ever be filmed using "imax" camera's and film. Specifically made for an IMAX movie theatre to create more of a 3D feel. IMAX camera's (from my understanding) use more than one lense combined together similar to human site. Instead of a single lense transfered to film. The opening scene for example was amungst the 5 scenes shot with this technology. In a regular movie theatre you would not see any difference, and would miss the dimensional affect created. In the IMAX theatre it creates a slight "wow." The part i found annoying was when the scenes switched from those filmed using such... the screen size would change and it downgraded slightly. I was too busy watching to movie to notice it at first but something kept bugging me while i was watching the movie. It was just a "this isn't what it was a second ago" feeling.

I've heard Harry Potter is filmed almost entirely using the new cameras as well as watchmen. I'm sure this will soon become the norm.... just think IMAX TV!!! LOL.

Nah. I really enjoyed it. Overhyping seems so common these days, I should just be used to it, ignore it, and judge on a clean slate. But it's hard to do that. Grand Theft Auto in video games, No Country For Old Men in movies. Both good, but great? Not in my opinion. These movies/games have so many flaws that no one seems to notice because of their excitement of seeing/playing them.

The more I think about scenes in Batman, the more I realize I liked it. A lot of memorable parts.
