Hey Gloat, I thought Kobe was pretty big choking and making poor decisions in the clutch huh?

How about laughing at the fact that the Spurs had about 30 points from the FT line?
How about laughing about Manu's foot being on the line during the big 3 pointer at the end?
How about all the times tonight that Kobe was fouled on a shot and they didn't call them?

It was a foul. However, every spurs fan wanted that shot to go in. You wanted that shot to go in. But ONLY since it didn't... you guys cry about the foul. Now had he hit the shot? Of course nobody would even mention that foul.

Brent Barry says "They're not going to call that".

Popavich says "I think it was the proper 'no-call'." "What do ya'll want me to say? If I was the official, I wouldn't have called that a foul."

And they're right. You can't blow basketball games on gay calls and give teams that should have lost already a chance to win. They were down 6 and due to dumb mistakes they were given a chance. It would have been an absolute fluke for them to win that game. So why would they call it?

30 points from the FT line. Why cry about 2 more?

Yeah. It happens, I guess. Not sure what he was thinking. He's almost human.

The reason barry and popovich said those things was because that's how the spurs are. They have always lost with class and take full responsibility for their losses. Unlike phil jackson who was complaining about the officials after the first quarter. I think their should have been a foul called their but only shooting 2. Games should not be decided by officials either blowing their whistle or not blowing their whistle. It should be decided by making the correct call in that situation without thinking of the consequences. If one more game in this series comes down to another questionable referee call at the end I'll begin to buy into your conspiracy theory. At least we know the lakers aren't actually the better team the league just wants them to win, correct?

that would make more sense than the league wanting the spurs to win....

Uh...in an away game they lead the entire game. haha What more proof do you want? And that with the spurs getting 26 attempts at the line and Brent Barry scoring 30 points.
How likely is that to happen again?
    Better team is obvious.

Gloat clearly I don't actually believe the whole conspiracy theory. But all last round you were telling us how the nba determines the outcome of series and it's not actually the players who win the games. But now that your team is winning it's because they are the better team and there's no way the league is helping them. Clearly right now the lakers are the better team. I think it will be very tough for the spurs to win but each team has had one blowout win and the other two games the spurs had a shot inside the last 10 seconds to win the game so it's not like those were convincing. I was also shocked to see kobe make the mental error that he made at the end of the game, you rarely see him do something like that.

No, I still think the calls are screwed. It's the "home cooking" theme. The home team gets the calls every time. Spurs got them tonight, they just didn't get the most important one. BUT the game was called much better tonight than in previous games. (I say that even with them getting 26 shots at the line)

Home cooking my foot. The Spurs went to the line more because they were the agressors and took it to the basket. Tim was fouled at least 5 more times that were not called, and how the call where Tony Parker was shoved into the first row after the goaltending call was not a foul is beyond me. He made the shot and and was sent into the first row by the defender. You could make an argument that it was a flagrant, but it wasn't even called. How the NBA justifies putting Joey Crawford on a Spurs game after all of their problems with him is beyond me. It might not be a conspiracy, but he has a well documented history of hating the Spurs, and to have him in one of the most important games of the year is sheer lunacy.

Detroit has more talent than either of them.
