Young Reacts to Matt Leinart Pictures

I just know that if I had a child in his/her mid 20s, I would be hacked off if he/she went out with some friends and had a drink, and I would hope that even if he/she were a great human being that nobody else would look up to them, because drinking is of the devil Bobby Bouche. Come on now, dude had a drink with some old friends. What is the deal. No laws were broken. Nobody got hurt. They were being responsible. What cracks me up is the dude who was defending Pac man is criticizing Vince for drinking.

I agree binge drinking is a problem. Is there evidence that Vince was binge drinking, or is it possible that he was just drinking with his friends?

 

School has been out for two weeks at UT.

 

And 3 years for almost everyone there.

 

Young people, away from home the first time in their lives, making decisions on their own for the first time is hard enough. Binge drinking and getting drunk impairs judgement, and many kids in that situation have done things they would never have done sober. Like having unprotected sex with someone they barely know, taking advantage of someone passed out, rape, wandered into a situation that compromised their safety. The girl in Aruba comes to mind.

Excuse me, but you must be blind if you don't see binge drinking in those pics of VY. They aren't having a wine and cheese party discussing current events, they are passing around a tequilla bottle and getting **** faced.

And for someone to say they want their life to be a model for how young people should be, to be in a situation like that is being hypocritical.

I know this is a place where people want to see no wrong in VY, I"m one of those people, but sometimes you gotta take the blinders off...

 

I don't know if that was directed at me or not, but I haven't brought the bible into this. This is not a religious issue with me.

BTW, the term you wanted was "bible thumping", not "bible bashing". Most people who bash the bible don't believe anything in it.

there's almost 10 different guys in the pictures and there's one tequila bottle. If the 10 guys shared the tequila bottle I would not call that binge drinking. And no one on here is saying binge drinking is okay. And it's not that I see no wrong in VY I just give the guy who's never got into any trouble a break the first time we see pictures of him drinking. Matt leinart doesn't get the benefit of the doubt because we've seen 100 pictures of him drinking so you get the feeling he's a binge drinker.
