Now that the LA threat is gone, it makes me worry less - but still leaves the footprints on non huge market teams...

Another thing - when (if ever) is a projection of when Nashville hits a million people - and do you think that gives the Titans better footing for a new stadium or renovations? (of course seasons from now until 2030 being involved too)

also, from stats the 13 county area surrounding Davidson County totals 1.8 million people.

I do wonder... did the Sounds ever get there new stadium?

I expect trying to do a MLS/Sounds stadium combo.

We need to do what the dolphins did a few years ago. Just use the bones of the current stadium, but build on it. Do a major face lift. Believe theirs cost around 500 Million. About 1/3 of a new stadium. Ours is already in a great location. No need to move somewhere else. Just invest 600-800 million into a major face lift. Half the cost of a new one. Don't half a$$ it like they did originally.

    Ideas for updates/changes:
    • Doll houses need to go - just like the linked article said, the doll houses and look/feel of the stadium need an update
    • New theme - I know it's not the Coliseum anymore, but I'd love to see a greek/roman theme for the stadium. Use the Parthenon as a design inspiration and put columns and arches all over the place. That would really make it a completely unique experience that also fits the Titans and Nashville
    • Shade - The coliseum in Rome had some movable "sails" that provided shade, I bet something similar could be designed for not too terrible of a total price that would add some much needed relief in the hot summer, while also sticking with the suggested motif

Considering how easy it is to access games from the comforts of home, some type of shelter from the sun is a must if you expect people to show up going forwards. I would hope for everyones sake shade sails or something would be one of the first additions installed.
