Are you suggesting Foster only excels because of his teammates? He'd be a berserker anywhere he played. Would probably have gaudier numbers actually.

not suggesting that is the only reason he excelled.

Asking if maybe that makes him look better than he would look elsewhere. it is not an easy question to answer. Kinda similar to the superstar at a small school debate. I think having strong teammates around Foster makes him harder to evaluate.

Very tough call. But, i just have a hard time liking Alabama players that high. Because they play around so much talent. I think he is very good, but idk about top 10.

I hear you on that one, you do need to be careful. however, some have become stars.

I just don't see it. He plays with natural instinct and flies to the ball. I think he'd be devastating in any system. Had 32 tackles, 3 sacks and 3.5 TFLs in his last three games, which were also the biggest and against the best competition.

I'm so excited for this draft regardless. We have so many options. Really hope we can load up on DBs in FA so we can get the BPA. I wouldn't be surprised if we traded down that 5 and went after a pass rusher like Williams.

If foster falls to 18 we take him. He's a stud, but what's the draft history of ILB the past 5-10 years? I'm not sure many were taken top 10

Foster will not make it to 18. I don't think he makes it out of the top ten. People underestimate the impact a stud ILB can have. Look at the difference Kuechly makes.

Jerad Mayo, AJ Hawk, Rolando McClain, and Luke Kuechly.

Jonathon Vilma was picked at #12 and Patrick Willis was pick at #11.

Foster is a top 5 talent, maybe top 3.

Id rather get one of the safeties, or mike williams at 5. But I wouldn't hate foster. Would fill a need with a top end talent, and make our defense better. I could get on board easily.
