Coach Ken Whisenhunt didn't rule out the chance of #Titans keeping 2 kickers on roster, but I'd say it's very unlikely.

Travis Coons has been the most accurate of the two kickers so far in camp, although Maikon Bonani has the stronger leg #Titans

Maybe it is just me but i'd keep Coons instead of Bonani. Coons has been making more kicks. If this continues through the preseason they will regret it if they keep Bonani.

Yesterday.....s. Maikon Bonani was wide right from 48 yards, Travis Coons was good from 53 yards.

Whisenhunt says he hasn't seen enough yet of #Titans kickers in camp to be impressed. Four preseason games left.

Here's what I was thinking. What if one of them could punt? Like if Bonani could punt, we could just let him punt, kickoff, and attempt field goals over 50 yards. Let Coons be the field goal specialist under 50 yards and cut Kern.

Or, maybe someone can teach Kern to kickoff and put it deep in the endzone and just let Coons be the field goal guy.

Bonani sucks. Either roll with Coons or bring Bironas back.

Why would you cut Kern. He's an amazing punter.

I'm actually surprised kickers haven't learn to do everything. It would save a team a roster spot. I'm pretty sure Craig Hentrich used to kick field goals at Notre Dame. In fact, I have a feeling that most of the old school guys were good at both. Why would we be trending away from that? With how ridiculous athletes are becoming now a days, can it really be that hard to have a guy that can be a teams punter and place kicker????

I would go get an Arena Football guy and see if they can punt too. Or any other soccer player.

We're not going to keep two place kickers. That's a fireable offense, IMO.

Seems like a waste of a roster spot. Two bad kickers does not equal one good one.
