85 Bears dominated like no other but they were playing chess while the O was still playing checkers. Teams would be down early, typically, and that 7 step drop would just get annihlated - fun to watch though. I was a total bandwagon fan!

    Different era, dude.

2000 Ravens would've gotten BF'd in the mouth (yes, that's butt****ed in the mouth, which makes no sense, but that's what would've happened) by the Broncos.

That's how I judge it, at least.

Different era or not. Ravens 2000 defense was unreal and are far superior to the 2013 Seahawks defense.

What's crazy is that our defense was better stat wise that year.

That's what I was trying to say... if Del Greco had the flu that day or Ray Ray was in jail, the roles would be reversed. Ravens irrelevant, Titans relevant and in talks of best defense of all time.

Who am I kidding though. We could go 19-0 and the "experts" would still have their doubts. Schlereth is about the only one who ever puts any kind of faith in us.

And you do realize the Seahawks held the best offense in the history of the NFL to 8 points in the Super Bowl, right? Should've been 0, and I was pissed when the Broncos scored. Wanted to see a shutout at that point.

Rams offense was way better than the Broncos offense. How they czll that Broncos offense the best is beyond me.

I'm actually with Deuce on this. IMO McNair is highly overrated by the average Titan fan due to 1) the "iron man" factor, and 2) his untimely, tragic death.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan and always will be. But if we're being honest he was really just an above-average QB for the most part. And he certainly wasn't an all-time great or HoF-worthy as so many Titan fans make him out to be.

That said, he was absolutely the best QB this franchise has ever had (And the fact that there isn't even a remotely close second is really f'ing sad). So he deserves to be revered by the fans.

Personally, the circumstances surrounding his death and the other details of his personal life do not come into play in my opinion of him very much. I had been hearing stories of his philandering for years. And I figure if I heard them then I'm sure they also managed to get back to his wife. So for all we know they had an open relationship, or she just put up with it for the money, or.... who knows there could be any number of reasons. And at the end of the day it's really none of our business. I do feel for his entire family and especially his kids though.

One of my favorite posters SawdustMan, but that last post deserves an "It sucks".

My new tablet won't let me quote anymore.

McNair would have exploded under a different coach. All his "average" can be laid at Fisher's feet.
