You can tell by his comments that Vick is still a worthless piece of human trash.

Yes, an insult to anyone who might be part of said culture. If that were the case then 98% of the population would not have been so angry with him.

So Vick didn't change how many looked at the QB position? I would wager every cent I own that most of these dual threat QB's we see today grew up idolizing and emulating Vick.

I don't think Vick alone did. I think a cumulative effect of several successful QBs did though. McNair, McNabb, Culpepper, Cunningham, Young, Elway and others proved guys who could run could be successful. Vick was the extreme example because he had special speed, but the guy was an average quarterback.

    Idk. Tony Dungy supports him.

What he did was awful, but he did his time and came out a better man.

He also grew up in a much different culture than anyone on here did. Doesn't excuse what he did, but he was obviously troubled and was surrounded by friends/family that were in the same boat.

    I don't think he's like that anymore.

His brother... He's the bigger piece of sh*t.

He didn't do it alone but he was a huge contributor. He might never have been a super productive QB but the man live on ESPN top 10 plays. While that alone doesn't make you a hall of famer it does make you highly influential. Those guys you mentioned were all good players but you know kids scrambling as QB's across the nation weren't trying to be Dante Culpepper, they were pretending to be Michael Vick. Vick's game was pretty much street-ball on a football field and that had a lot of appeal particularly in the inner cities. Didn't translate to wins and as you said he didn't do it alone but I don't think it's ridiculous for him to say he revolutionized the game

...But he didn't revolutionize the game. Kids may have pretended to be him, but show me someone playing like he did when he was at his peak. He's literally the only guy who has gotten by with great athleticism without being a good passer because he was that great of an athlete. RGIII, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton and the like are playing from the pocket, not running around with their hair on fire.
