Everyone hated on Eddie when he left too. Time changes things.

I don't care that CJ left.

After Eddie left, I don't recall him talking negatively about the Titans.

    So, F CJ.

Dude, guys who get cut by a team sometimes take it personally, why is everyone acting like CJ is the first to be disgruntled by being let go.

That's fine... but this about the "RING OF HONOR". So, F him... he doesn't get honored.

George was let go... how much did he talk negatively about the Titans..?

I don't even know if CJ's comments are really all that negative. He feels he was wronged by the team and is saying as much. It's not like he said we're joke organization or he couldn't wait to leave Nashville. George might not have said anything but ATV made some negative comments about us and said we were a long way from winning. I didn't see all the outrage. Like it or not CJ was one of the best players this young franchise has ever had. He might have been a bit selfish but he played very well for us and I think he should be in.

ATV won't make the ring of honor either.

Eddie really helped us get to some winning seasons, and definitely was a significant part of going to a Super Bowl. Not that it was CJ's fault that we couldn't win games, but it is a mark on his legacy. if Barry Sanders had taken the Lions to a Super Bowl win, he would be many, if not most peoples' #1 RB of all time.

there will be a lot more to look back fondly on with Eddie. Eddie was a model citizen while a Titan, CJ ran his mouth to the media constantly. Giving himself nicknames and such. I don't think CJ will ever be looked back on fondly, except for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He has got to be the most polarizing people in the Titans' short history.

a gazillion 2nd and 12's and third and 9's is not playing pretty real well

and since when did playing 'well' deserve anything?

    'well' is easily replaced

2 good, or great, seasons and a plethora of inconsistent, average ones does not deserve honor.
