    as much as I am a MM fan he has not proven on Sundays that he can be an average NFL WR

    but he has this one last shot in TN an I am hoping it works out

    Mariani was looking pretty great in the slot before he went down. It was against 2nd and 3rd stringers in the preseason, but he had some moves.

    I don't think Mariani gave us anything outside of his return skills. If I remember correctly Mariani was always one of those looks good in practice but can't perform on the field kind of guys before his injury.

    Mariani is a special teamer. Not much else. Before or after injury.

    I get that he's a likable guy- but he's nothing special and should probably be cut. We have no need for him.
