You obviously don't get what has actually happened.
Oher was signed to be the RT with the thought they wouldn't need to take a tackle in the draft. When everyone else on the board was taken (Barr, Gilbert, Ebron, whoever) they tried to trade out but couldn't get it done. They took the BPA and one of the highest grades according to many.
Oher is the odd man out, he can be gotten rid of next season. Who cares how much he costs against the cap. It's not like we are running sort of money.

I understand what happened. Either they misstepped by picking up oher, or did not do their homework on the draft, to where they were forced into taking another tackle. IMO, they created a logjam at a position that "should be" a position of strength for the next few season. I will change my tune if Roos gets traded soon. If they wanted someone to groom into Roos' spot, don't know if they needed to do that at 11. If Roos goes this preseason, I will be a lot more satisfied with the situation.

Meanwhile, our only legitimate pass rush threat is a DT. And Will have a total unproven at RB, CB, ILB, RB. And that goes without mentioning the QB. All this being said, there is a lot of draft left. I don't expect there to be answers to all these problems in the draft.

IMO Webster definitely must be embarrassed to not have been able to pull off a trade.

3rd would be a lot to ask for all things considered, but point of thread is Roos is now expendable, and if we can get anything for an aging player on his way out, we most definitely should.

Said 9 million backup will be a starter either this year or next, depending what happens with Roos.
Said 10 million RB under performed and did not live up to his contract. At all.

I am done arguing CJ. So don't bother replying. You're wrong and just wanted an excuse to bring him up.

Its funny CJ is being talked about again, but I saw a CJ fan yesterday in a Titans jersey with a Jets hat, immediately thought of TWW2

Michael Oher's 9.350 guaranteed money was a 4 million signing bonus, his full 2 million 2014 salary, and 3.35 million of his 2015 salary. If Michael Oher is released before the start of the 2015 league year he does not get the 3.35 guaranteed in his 2015 salary thus we would have to pay him his 2014 hit (3 million dollars) and the remaining of his signing bonus (3 million dollars); which makes it a 1 year, 6 million dollar deal. That is why people get released before the league year starts because teams do not have to pay any of the guaranteed portions of their salary if they are not on the roster when the league year starts.

    THIS THIS THIS!

And CJ getting cut isn't just about this year but his deal's impact on future cap space. If they cut Oher, there is no effect on the cap past this year.

See, now I could almost agree with your point, and then you go full retard and call CJ a top 10 back. He was, isn't currently though. In terms of yards, he was 11, but that's because we kept feeding him and he kept killing drive (tiring out our D and losing us games). YPC is a MUCH more important stat to show a RBs performance, and :cj: ranked 32nd. 32 teams in the league, might as well just call him last amongst starters.

So while you sort of make a point, you then completely discredit it.

If we are serious about moving Roos I would even take a 4th any pick helps. I really wanted to watched Roos finish as a Titan though. He's been a stable force on our line and a class act his whole career, however the nfl is still just a business s*** happens.

Disagree, he should feel embarrassed if he made a bad trade that hurt the team. It's like some people don't understand a trade requires 2 parties. There were 2 (Us and Browns) but one of them didn't feel they were getting fair value and called it off. I'm fine with that, better than making a trade to hurt the team.

For all we know the Browns wanted #11 for #26 and their 4th. Taking your stance is ridiculous as we'll likely never know the details.
