And I really wish people would quit saying our OL is "set" now. Did no one learn their lesson last year?

Lewan isn't a guard. It really isn't that hard to understand.

If we drafted Manziel, I would have loved it, we would have had solid espy coverage for the next 5 years, and we could have gotten a great lineman in the second round. We could also have gotten the team energized, the fans energized, the coaching staff would have looked bold as risk takers. Instead we look retarded and are taking a risk on an offensive lineman. Even if he wouldn't have panned out, I would have been glad to have said I wanted him, he was a mistake, but at least people know what the Titans have been doing the last 5 years. Today I am ashamed to wear my titans gear

I hope Lewan rolls up on Clowney in some dark tunnel or bathroom before our game, massages his shoulders and whispers "those are some pretty braids you have the baby".

That wasn't my point. My point was people are putting too much faith in guys who've never played a down in the league.

I don't think it is irrational to take the best player on your board.

I agree, but I don't think they molded this JUST for the Texans. This was hands down a need and good value both short and long term. Instant starter, and most likely for many years, barring injury. Also, who's to say he isn't a play maker? A Diamond in the ruff is not always found with OT's later. This kid plays angry, and does both pass protecting and run blocking well. It just isn't as flashy or attractive as a CB/QB/or WR...but that doesn't mean it isn't effective. Look around the league at successful teams, I bet you every one has good quality OT's......

And besides his mom brings serious cougar skills to the table (the naughty cross and cleavage combo is a bold draft day move)

Well get ready for it because that is exactly what is going to happen. And we'll reach for a RB with our pick when TB takes Jimmy G.
