I'm not advocating taking trading him for our second round pick. It's merely a topic of debate before the draft. If it is true they are seeking a 2nd then they are looking to unload him, doesn't mean a team would take the trade and it doesn't mean they won't take less then a second.

    yeah. 5th-7th rd.. sure!

I agree with TWW2.. We would be lucky to get a 2nd for Locker, who is much more decorated of an NFL player than Glennon.

TBH: Draft picks are extremely overvalued in the NFL.

Players who are a proven commodity should be worth a lot more than an unknown who has a 50 percent or more chance of flaming out.

But Glennon isn't really much of a commodity.

If The Browns didn't already have a pile of turds at the position I would've thought they would be perfect for Glennon..

In fairness it was pulled from NFL.com and was posted in the OP: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...-glennon-could-be-traded-for-secondround-pick

This is the guy fueling the speculation:

I understand that they have a new regime, but damn they gave up on him real quick.

The times I watched him, he wasn't awful or anything like that.

They won't get an 2nd round pick at all. Probably won't even get an 5th for him.. Nice try by the Bucs though.

I'd do it for a 6th if you really thought we had a chance at succeeding this year. B/c this coaching staff does not as of right now. If they did they would have a better back up plan at QB then whitehurst. If you are a good team and your starter goes down for 2-3 games then you need someone that can come in and compete and win some games. What we have right now is hey if Locker goes down then we are ok with losing every game.
