It doesn't matter. If you can play, the league will find you, regardless of what league you play in. There have been many players bust from the Big 5 conferences just as there have been many players succeed in the league from smaller, lesser known conferences.

Conference affiliation, when it comes to the league, doesn't mean ****. Jerry Rice, considered to be the GOAT of WR, went to MS Valley State.

And one is a frustrated closet homosexual who thinks he knows everything, but really does not know anything. Not calling out anybody by name, but it rhymes with SlowNight.

I thought the most experienced QB in the draft was Murray. I could be wrong, but I thought I heard on ESPN radio that he had the most starts in the draft amongst available QBs. I listened to his interview, and the kid seemed pretty grounded. Of course, these interview answers to questions always seem rehearsed (say the right things), but I could tell he has confidence in himself.

QB is as big a need as any other position. We simply don't have a proven QB on the roster.

Your post ignores everything we did in free agency. We signed a quality ilb, a RB, an outside pass rusher. Reneged Wimbley have a bunch of 300 lb+ linemen.

    QB is a need position.

Jerry Rice played in a different era. More than half the division 2 teams from 1985 are division one now and they were the best programs. Programs like La Tech. So the divide from division 1 and 2 is much greater today.

Name a player from Mississippi valley playing the league today.

Could we refrain from using outliers to make a general point?

Steve Mcnair, Walter Payton and Jerry rice are outliers! You would not be successful filling up your draft with kids from Jackson St. Miss valley and Alcorn.

It's like arguing that QBs taken in rd 6 are better than QBs in rd 2 and using Tom Brady as an example. He was one guy in 30 years.

Does that matter? Are the best QBs the most experienced? I'm not saying experience does not matter it does but once a Qb gets 20-25 starts he is experienced enough to play and has enough starts for scouts and coaches to know him.

I'm sure people will twist my words.

Oh you mean I misinterpreted your post and attacked a point you never made?

How does it feel shortbus? Pretty annoying isn't it? So maybe your ******* should quit doing that on a regular basis.

Why? Does it bother you that everything doesn't fit in a pretty picture? Is it possible that a player in this draft from a smaller school might turn out pretty good?

Two of the players you listed were about the best ever at their position dip****. But you would automatically disqualify them from being drafted because they were small school. Moron.

Speaking of smaller schools. We have players from Morehouse, and Morgan State on our roster, so like corymiller said; if you can play, they will find you. Dont limit yourself to only the top universities, there are many Alabama and Tennessee alumni who have failed in the NFL.
